Chapter 10: That was weird!

-The next day-

I wake up the next morning still sitting in the big comfy chair.
I look around the room and notice my family sound asleep.

I turn my head to the big window, I squint my eyes a little when the bright sun hits them.

I get up from he chair, and go to a big mirror that was sitting upon the wall.
I lay down the stray hairs that was sticking up from my braids.

Suddenly my phone buzzes in my phone.
I check it and notice it's a text from Emmy.

It reads:
What's his name Meghan?
Please tell me!
And did you guys hangout yesterday?
When did you meet him?

I roll my eyes at her text...
I text her back saying:

It's non of your business Emmy.
And we actually hung out all yesterday, it was very nice...
And we met yesterday.

I press send and put my phone back into my pocket, and head on to the bathroom.
On my way there a knock at the door suddenly startles me.

Oh geez... I hope it's not Charlie, this is not the time!

I walk slowly to the door.
When I put my hand on the door nob and hesitate for a second. I take a deep breath and open it quickly...

"Charlie, it's like 7 in the morning you shouldn't be he--

"Ashlyn??"
I frown'

"Hey Cancun buddy!!!!"
She squeals'

"Shhh!! My family is sleeping"
I say stepping out into the hallway while closing the door'

"Sorry... Umm I just wanted to know if Ryan is awake?"
She whispers'

"Of course not if I just said my family's sleeping"

"Oh sorry... But umm can we talk at least?"
She scratches her head nervously'

"Why? You switched out on me yesterday"
I say crossing my arms'

"I know... I didn't mean too. But HEY! you ditched me first"

"How Ashlyn?"

"By sneaking off somewhere"

"That's because you ditched me with my brother, so that means you ditched me first. And if you think I was going to sit and listen to you and my brother giggle and flirt with each other, well THINK AGAIN!
Cause I wasn't!!"

"I'm really sorry Cancun buddy I promise I won't do it again! Please we're suppose to be friends"

Before she could say another sentence I close the door in her face...
