Chapter 5: we're finally here!

-6 hours later-

"Cancun buddy, Wake up!"
I hear a voice say in my ear'

I open my eyes and see the dirty- blonde headed girl smiling at me.

"Oh hey, What's up?"
I yawn'

"Guess were we are?"

"Where?"
I say rubbing my eyes'

"CANCUN!!!"
She cheers'

"Really? Already?"
I say blankly'

"Yep! Ahh!! I'm so excited"
She giggles'

I put on a fake, tired smile as I continue to wake up....

Suddenly the pilot of the plane speaks over the speakers as we are landing.

Attention passengers, we have now landed in Cancun, Mexico.
Please remember to grab all of your belongings while exiting the plane.
Thank you and have a safe trip!

The girl next to me stands up from her seat to get her bags from the luggage cabinet.
I also do the same, but mine is in a different cabinet with Ryan's.

"Good morning Meg"
Ryan says happily'

"Good morning."
I say as I grab my bags'

"Who is that girl you were sitting next to?"
He whispers'

"Oh, she's a little friend I made.
I haven't gotten her name yet though"

"Well, when you do tell me!"

"Why?"

"Because she's hot! DUH!"

"stop it Ryan, she's way out of your league"

begin to giggle'

"No, I'm serious Meg."
He says as he walks off the plane with his bags'

I shake my head at him and continue to giggle...

When I'm finally off the plane I spot my family waiting for me in the airport.

"Good morning honey!!"
My mom says as she hugs me tightly'

"Good morning"
I say blankly'

"Are you excited now that we're actually in Cancun Meghan?"
My father asks'

"Kinda... But I still miss Emmy and Nantucket"

"Don't be sad Meg, just wait till we get to the beach!"
Ryan says'

"And go on waterslides!"
Justin adds'

"Well I don't wanna go to the beach or waterslides, I wanna go home!"
I pout'

"You'll be alright Meghan​.
Now in the mean time me and your father needs to get a hotel for us and a cab."
My mother said'

"Ok"
We all say'

Me and my brothers go sit down at a nearby bench.
I look out the huge airport windows watching the other planes land.

All I can hear is my brothers talking about what they'll be doing tomorrow at the beach.
