Chapter 2: Cancun here we come!✈

*A few hours later*

I've been packing all night, and also texting Emmy my horrible news.
She's completely shocked and sad that I'm not going to be spending the summer with her.

I honestly can't blame her, I would be sad too if my best friend is leaving for the summer.

But hey!
Maybe Cancun will be fun? I literally have no clue what I'm going to do there?
But I guess I'll try to have fun....

"Are you finished packing?"
My mom says as she steps in my room'

"Yes."
I respond'

"Ok you can start putting your suit cases in the car downstairs"

"Ok"

I take my suit cases and drag them all down the wooden staircase.

And trust me, they were hard to get down!

As I'm outside putting my luggage in the trunk, Ryan came out the house with his luggage too.

"What's up best sister in the whole wide world!"

I give him a evil, annoyed stare as I continue to do my task.

"Geez what's with the evil stare?"

I look back at him and roll my eyes as I close the truck door and walk back into the house.

"You know you could have left the trunk open."
She shouts'

As I'm back in the house I notice my Mom, Dad, and my other brother (Justin) heading out the house.

"Wait! Are we leaving tonight?"
I stop my mom'

"Of course. We do have to catch a flight ya know."

"But I haven't said my last goodbyes to Emmy yet!"

"Honey, we don't have time for that right now. And plus it's like 11 at night, Emmy is probably asleep."

"Yeah pumpkin, you wouldn't want to disturb her. You can call her tomorrow morning"
My Dad adds as he locks the front door of our House'

Me and my family hop into our family size car and buckle up quickly.

"You guys ready?"
My dad says as we're about to pull off from our house'

"YES!!"
Both of my brothers yell in my ear'

UGHH... Why do I have to be in the middle?

"Ok, Cancun here we come!!"
My Dad says as he pulls out from the driveway'
