Chapter 13: Ruined night!

What does Ryan and Ashlyn want? Can't I have my own privacy for once, without one of them in my face all the time?
Geez...

"How may I help you two?"
I ask politely as possible'

"Geez Meghan, no hi or hello?
Ryan laughs'

"Ryan, what do you want?"
I say sighing while rolling my eyes'

"We just wanted to talk that's all, may we sit?"

I hesitate for a moment, I look back at where Charlie was at the bar. I see him walking back towards me with our drinks in his hand.

"Actually, umm... Me and Charlie were about to go!"
I said standing up quickly from my seat'

"Why so soon Meghan?"
Ryan says with confusion'

"Because we can, Ryan!
Now goodbye!"

I march quickly over to Charlie...

"Let's go Charlie!"
I said gripping his arm tightly'

"Wait what happened?"
He says trying not to spill the drinks'

"My brother! That's​ what happened"
I say angrily walking off'

Charlie tries to keep up with my speed, and without​ trying to spilling the drinks he got for is.

"Do you at least want your smoothie?"

I stop and take my drink from him...

"Thank you.."
I smile'

Charlie smiles as he begins to drink his...

"So, are you going to introduce me to your brother?"

"NO! You don't wanna meet him, trust me Charlie"

"All because he gives you pain, doesn't mean he will to me. I'll make sure of that"

I get silent for a moment as I look down at my drink contemplating about what I should say next....

"What?"
Charlie frowns at my slience'

"Nothing, its just that I'll like to leave now"
I mumble'

"Why? We just got here"

"I know I know... I just know for a fact that for the rest of the night Ryan will be bothering us, and I honestly don't have time for Ryan and his foolishness.
I already get that daily...."

"Ok... I understand...
I'll take you home"
Charlie murmurs as he begins to walk off'

I follow after him quickly...

I actually feel kinda bad for ending the night so fast...
I know Charlie wanted to have fun together, but we all know how Ryan is. 😑
I now feel like this is all my fault... I ruined Charlie's night!
How could I ever make it up to him?

We make it to the hotel, we get into the elevator and go to our floor.
The elevator ride was also very akward and silent.

When we get to our floor we walk out of the elevator and down to my room door.
Before I unlocked the hotel door with the room card, I wave and smirk to Charlie.

"Wait... Meghan, please..."
He stops me'

I stop and turn around, I look up into his green eyes.

"I'm sorry..."

"For what? You didn't do anything Charlie"

"I know, I know... It's just that I wish we could do something more private together... Ya know?"

"Yeah... That'll be cool"
I say softly'

"Yeah it would, but I know you like to have your space, so I don't think anytime soon would be a good time"

I suddenly don't say anything, I look around the hallway to see if anyone was around.
Once I notice there is nobody, I pull Charlie close.

"Meet me tomorrow morning in the outdoor pool at 8, and bring your swim shorts!"
I whisper'

Charlie looks at me with all types of emotions on his face. He wasn't sure to be happy? Or confused? Or shocked?

"B-but I thought you wanted to be alone tomorr--"

"I know... I've changed my mind"
I said smiling'

Charlie now puts a full smile on his face...

I love seeing his gorgeous, white, smile!
It's so PERFECT!!

"So will I'll be seeing you?"

Charlie nods his head....

"Good! Well you should go get some sleep, we have a full day of fun tomorrow!"
I smile brightly'

Charlie gives me a another smile as he waves to me and walks away.
I wave back to him with a shy smile...

Damn.. I'm really going to make tomorrow special!
But how?.....
