Detective Scene 2

Male 2:

Well, I hope your experience here will give you ideas for your next project, Mr. Moulett.

Male 1:

Oh, please, call me Trevor. And I'm sure that I'll experience a lot. So, when is this "best detective" of yours coming?

Male 2:

She should be coming in anytime now, unless she stirred up a fight, somewhere, somehow, with someone. That will take longer.

Male 1:

I'll wait as long as it takes. Especially for her.

Female 1:

Psychos like this deserve to be put into jail! What they have done is disgusting! And where is that enhanced photo that was in her mouth!? I am on a forced deadline! Hernandez, Adam, do something!

Male 3:

Yeah, um, I'm going this way-

Male 4:

A-and I'm going that way. I-I think I heard someone call my name. I'm on my way!

*both Males run off in opposite directions, scared*

Male 2:

Natalie! What happened?

Female 1:

I'll tell you what happened! This new case I got makes me sick! My victim is a 25-year-old female who was brutally tortured, raped, then murdered. Her body has been hung in a public family park for everyone to see. And I have no leads! That's what happened! And why is coffee-shop-pervert standing right in front of me, not taking his eyes off of me?

Male 2:

Collins... This is Trevor Moulett, C.E.O. of LMT Corporation. He will be with us to help make the technology and tools of the LAPD more enhanced and modern. And to experience what it's like in the field to get ideas of what is needed and more useful. He wanted to be with the best, so, the best he will be with. You.

Female 1:

No. Absolutely not! You have got to be kidding me! I am not babysitting a grown man just so he can "experience" what we do. Sorry, boss, but I have other important matters on my bloody hands.

Male 2:

Yeah, well, you have no say in this. The decision is final. Trevor, you're in "bloody hands." This is Natalie Collins; you'll be with her for the duration of your stay. You will be introduced to her team. If you need anything, don't hesitate to come talk to me. Good luck, you two.

Female 1:

But, boss, I'm on this case-

Male 2:

Female 1:

Male 1:

So... How's your day been going?

Female 1:

Listen here, Moulett. Stay out of my way and you'll stay alive. Get in my way and you won't be a C.E.O. anymore. I'm not gonna be babysitting you, so try not t piss anyone off, and that includes me. And you're a grown man, take care of yourself. Follow me to my desk. You'll be introduced to the rest of the team when the time comes.

Male 1:

Well, whatever you need I can most certainly help. I can even help on this case of yours. It sounds pretty gruesome, but I can be of help.

Female 1:

You wanna help? Help by being quiet. I don't know about you, but I have work to do.

Male 1:

That's totally cool with me. My brother will be running my company for me until my time here is done.

Female 1:

When will you leave?

Male 1:

Wanna get rid of me so fast?

Female 1:

Yup.

Male 1:

I'll be here for a few weeks or months, until I have what I want.

Female 1:

Why do I have a feeling that you're not talking about work?

Male 1:

Because I'm not... So, what are we doing today, huh? Stakeout? Interrogations? Oh, I know! Examining the body of the victim! But I gotta tell you, I had a heavy lunch so I probably won't be able to keep it in my system when I see the body.

Female 1:

Oh, no! We're doing something with more actions and a lot more fun... Paperwork.

Male 1:
