Ciella's breath turned ragged as she gazed upon Ciel's hunched form. "Ciella...what are you doing outside your room?" His voice was calm but Ciella could tell he was doing everything in his power to not lash out. She closed her eyes and gulped down an anxious fit, licking ceaselessly at her lips.

"Ciella...I'll ask again. What are you doing outside your room?"

Ciella took a long deep breath before answering. "I-I got bored in my room and I-I was just planning to go to the library...I didn't mean to cause any trouble..." She placed her hands up over her face to protect herself as she saw Ciel raise his own. "I told you to stay in your room...Obviously I wasn't clear enough on the subject."

"I-I'm sorry, Ciel. I didn't-Ah!" He suddenly grabbed her arm and began to drag up the hall.

"You're going back up to your room and not coming out until morning." Ciella squealed in pain and struggled against his hold. "Ciel! Stop that! You're hurting me!" Just as he was about to respond, the study door opened and he quickly let her go. Two young handsome men stood at the doorway and their eyes widened at seeing Ciella.

Ciel narrowed his own at them. "I'm sorry for the commotion, gentlemen. It seems my sister was sleepwalking and found herself lost. I was just about to take her back to her room. Isn't that right, Ciella?" She barely nodded her head and bit her lower lip, knowing better than to go against Ciel at this point.

She shuffled her feet into a curtsy and placidly placed her hands in front of her. "Yes, I'm so sorry to have caused such a disturbance in your meeting." Her eyelashes innocently batted themselves while her face covered itself with one of her nervous expressions. Ever since what had almost happened to her, Ciella had become terrified of any male who came within one foot of her.

The two men listened to her apology but just nodded, their gazes still on Ciella. One of them then spoke up. "Lord Phantomhive, I didn't know you had a sister."

Ciel narrowed his gaze even more. "So what of it?"

"What of it?!" The other cried out. "She's positively gorgeous!" "Yes, I've never seen such a beauty before in my life!" The first one proclaimed.

Ciella blushed in embarrassment, adding to her chaste feminine charm. The two began to go on about her to Ciel even going so far as to ask if she was of marrying age. That was the last straw for him. "Sebastian!"

Like clockwork, Sebastian suddenly appeared before them. "You called, Young Master?"

"Escort these gentlemen out while I deal with my sister. That's an order!" He said with a slight growl.

Bowing, Sebastian gave a curt nod. "Yes, my Lord." And in one swift movement, Sebastian had the men escorted to the exit while Ciel turned his attention to Ciella.

Ciella kept her gaze down, her whole frame shaking in fear. "C-Ciel, please...I'm sorry." She muttered out.

"Sorry? Sorry!?" He yelled, losing his temper. "Sorry isn't going to cut it, Ciella! You disobeyed me by leaving your room, then you have the nerve to get caught and disturb my meeting!" He said, continuing to yell as he had lost his temper. He crept closer to her and cornered her once more against the wall.

Ciella cringed as she held her arms over her face in vain defense. Her body harshly hit the wall then slid down to the floor. Forget fear, she was absolutely terrified. "I-I'm sorry...I'm sorry, Ciel. Please, f-forgive me."

"Forgive you? Ciella, those men clearly wanted you for themselves! They even had the gall to ask if you were of marrying age! Do you want what happened two years ago to happen again!?" Ciel proclaimed, his fists alarmingly tightening at his side. It was obvious he was close to blowing an even bigger fuse.

She had let out a soft cry, shrinking back against the wall. "No, o-of course not...b-but please Ciel, I didn't mean to cause trouble."

"Well, that's exactly what you have done and now you must pay the price." Ciel said, grabbing her arm roughly in his grasp. He began dragging her down the halls towards her room.

Arriving at her room, he threw her inside, watching her land on her bed. Not even bothering to note her shaking form, Ciel raised his hand high. Before she could even react, a painful stinging senastation licked at her skin. Eyes wide, Ciella slowly brought her fingers to her cheek only to gasp in shock. "Ci-Ciel...."

"That was just the beginning." Ciel grumbled harshly. "Understand Ciella, I only do this for your protection. If you won't obey me, then I will make you." He struck her again, this time hard across the face.

Ciella screamed out in pain, tears flowing down her stinging cheeks as she curled onto her side. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry, brother!" She cried out, begging for forgiveness.

Ciel glared in anger as he breathed heavily. "Sebastian!" He called.

Again, the butler appeared. "Yes, master?"

"Watch over my sister. Make sure she doesn't leave her room, not even in the morning."

Sebastian raised a pencil-thin brow. Even to him, that seemed a excessive."Sir, are you sure that is wise?"

"Are you questioning my orders, Sebastian?"

The demon narrowed his eyes. He knew the young lord was still itching to hit something. And if not careful, that something would be him. He wearily shook his head and placed a respectful hand over his heart."Of course not, sir."

Ciel huffed indignantly."I thought so. Now keep her here and if she tries to escape again, stop her by any means necessary." With another prideful huff, Ciel left, slamming the door behind him.

Ciella jumped and once he was gone, a stream of steady tears rolled down her swelled cheeks, making the stinging increase tenfold. Her throbbing arms wound around her knees pulling them to her chest while she rocked her trembling frame back and forth. Though valiant, her tries weren't enough to suppress her sorrow.

She reached over for a pillow and buried her face into its welcoming touch, just as her eyes welled up with fresh droplets. She knew Ciel was capable of violence but never did she imagine he'd be violent towards her. A series of uneven hiccups erupted from her throat, obviously resulting from her muffled sobbing. Her nose, red from irritation, began dripping phlegm and mixed with her tears to further stain her bruised countenance. Her gaze drifted over to Sebastian who silently watched her with a bemused expression.

He didn't seem the smallest bit affected by her dishevelment. In fact, his eyes seemed to brighten at seeing her weep. Of course he would be the one to relish her misery, being a callous creature of sin and all. She ran a quivering hand across her eyes and wiped her nose with her sleeves. Taking a shattered breath, she shifted her body to face the butler and tried her best not to blubber in her speech. She already had a furious Ciel on her hands; she needn't add an annoyed demon to the list.

"Sebastian, if all you're going to do is gawk, could you please do it later... when I'm asleep?" She turned her face away as she spoke, not wanting to suffer any more humiliation.

His feline eyes blinked then furrowed as he replied. "Master told me to keep vigilance. How can I do that when I am not in your presence?"

"I don't know. Just... could you do it from outside my bedroom door?" She said as she slid into her many covers and pulled them over her head. "I promise I won't try anything. Not anymore..."

Sebastian seemed pleased with this response. "As you wish, mistress." A moment's pause lingered before his voice once again sounded. "I wish I could offer you words of comfort during this wretched time but I am afraid Master would grow cross with me if I did so."

"I know...Good night Sebastian..." If one could even call it that.

Again his voice came, saying a curt good night, before he stepped out and locked the door behind him.

She waited. Then unleashed the maelstrom.
