How wonderful. An entire day of babysitting the Phantomhive baby. The demon butler lounged atop a tree just on the outskirts of the manor, waiting for his mistress to appear so they could get on with their little excursion.

"And speak of the devil..." He mused as he heard a crunching and crackling sound coming from the direction of the estate gardens. He dropped down from his place in the branches and landed squarely on his feet before turning to face Ciella. She had just stumbled out of a hedge and bumped right into his chest."So you did manage to sneak away. Naughty naughty." He flicked her forehead to provoke her and smirked when she squealed in embaressment.

"Sebastian!"

"Hush, little human. You've made it this far into the world. It would be a shame if you were to get caught now."

The girl's azure eyes narrowed up at him as she pushed his hand away and crossed her arms. "I get it, I get it. Now can we go? I want to get in as much as possible."

Sebastian just nodded as he tucked his hands behind his back and smiled gallantly."Very well, mistress. This way, please." He stalked through the rest of the bushes and plantlife to make a path for Ciella before stepping onto the main road. Ciella hiked up her skirts in order to spare them any mistreatment and gingerly followed in the butler's footsteps.

"Now what, Sebastian? Don't we have to use a carriage or-or horses to get to London?" Her eyes widened upon hearing Sebastian's smug snickering then quickly narrowed."What is it now, Sebastian? Even you can't deny that we need some mode of transportation."

Sebastian's pasty lips stretched a mile before replying. "A human may need transportation but when one's a demon, one's legs are all the equipment one needs." With that said, he lifted her up into his arms and gained a slight shriek of surprise from Ciella. He let another devilish smirk paint his roguish features before muttering,"Hold on" into her ear and bolting down the road at his top speed.

The wind kissed what it could of Ciella's pale cheek and combed through her long tresses as Sebastian sped across the countryside. The scenic views of the English landscape zoomed past them, quicker than the blink of an eye. It took Ciella a while to open her sealed eyes and realize how beautiful it all was.

Then she looked at Sebastian. What she saw made her eyes widen. His normally immaculate hair fluttered crazily against the breeze as did his tie and the loose ends of his tailcoat. His crimson eyes glowed with a ravenous satisfaction at using his ungodly power which contrasted greatly against his alabaster skin. She swore she could almost detect a ghost of a smile upon his lips as he kept to his speed and dodged around various estates and farms in the surrounding area.

Sleek and nimble. Not to mention graceful. "But of course he's like this. It's in his nature to embody perfection.."

But...

"Strange...it's like he's almost...enjoying this?" Ciella thought as she gazed up at the demon. He seemed to notice her gawking and granted her a sliver of a glance; therefore briefly making their eyes meet.

And that's when he saw her. Not Ciella but truly her. She looked so awe inspired and innocent, not at all like the whiny little brat he dealt with at home. Then suddenly--"Oh would you look at that? It seems we've arrived at our destination." He said as he reduced his speed and came to an abrupt stop. Miraculously, he hadn't dropped her but Ciella wouldn't put it past him.

Yet for some reason...she felt as if she had no reason to fear being dropped from his arms. If anything, they'd do everything in their power to keep her there. She felt her body shift inwards to further envelope herself in his hold.

And so could Sebastian.

"Mistress?"

"Hmm?" She could feel herself nestling deeper into his arms.

"You aren't a cat or by any means related to one, are you?"

"No.." She subconsciously pressed her cheek against his lean build.

"Then why do you seek my warmth so openly, hmm?"

What? Her eyes shot open as she scrambled down to the ground and fixed her disarranged petticoats in an attempt to redeem herself. A bright rouge tint permiated her face as she cleared her throat."N-No! Don't be daft! In no regards am I a feline or related to one!"

"Could have fooled me, what with that cattish comment you just directed towards me." He quipped and chuckled, an air of superiority surrounding him.

Ciella clenched her jaws together and closed her eyes tightly as she proceeded to shout at Sebastian."How dare you even suggest such a thing?! Don't you know who I am?"

Sebastian placed a lax finger to his mouth and let his imfamous smirk arise once more."A rebellious child in need of a time out?"

"Sebastian!"

"Alright, if it vexes you so much, I'll quell my teasing. I wouldn't want innocent children to witness my murder by your hand." He said slyly then calmly stepped to the side as the girl tried to kick at him and avenge her dignity.

After a few more futile attempts to hurt him, Ciella wiped her brow with the back of her hand and frowned up at him. "As if I'd kill you out here for everyone to see." That comment mometarily left Sebastian in horror strucken awe.

What was this? Was she fighting back? He was loathe to test his theory, partially fearing his source of amusement was nearing its end."Oh? Then pray tell, how would to go about killing an eternal being such as I, mistress?"

A sly smirk donned Ciella's sweet complextion and a fiery gleam ignited in her pupils which made Sebastian (dare he say) wary? "I'd probably break every bone in your body first." He titled his head to the side as he gave her a look meaning for her to continue.

That was all it took. In an instant, her face fell and the defiant expression she had worn was replaced by an anxious glance."Then I-I'd umm..."

"Just as I thought. You're bluffing." He sighed and began to walk. Ciella trudged behind him as his shadow and also sighed, not daring to look up at him after this episode. However, if she had, she would've seen a fleeting look of disappointment cross Sebastian's face.

They passed a moment of silence as they crossed over into the city limits and were greeted by shabby ruins and the shambles of abandoned constructions. Ciella gasped at the sight and hurried up to Sebastian's side."Wh-What is this place?"

"The outskirts of London. Where all the most devious of humans and their sins lurk. Stay close." He ordered softly as he doubled his pace and kept it until the scene changed into picturesque town houses and elegant street shops.

Sebastian looked over his shoulder to gauge Ciella's reaction. He couldn't help but smile faintly at seeing her normally dull eyes glimmer with child like glee and her lips stretch into an unmistakable grin.

Sebastian chuckled and stopped in his stride to face her and bow."Mistress, it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to the very heart of our fair country."

She turned up her face to fully gaze at him."You mean-?"

"Yes, my lady. Welcome to London."
