Hi readers!Okay, this is the hardest part of the story - saying goodbye. I have been in love with making Mae and Carson come to life, mostly because I know the characters by heart. Childhood Love is based on a true story surrounding my life and to let off some steam, I've created this.
I am SO thankful I have supportive and awesome people that have taken their time to read this. I love each and every one of you and I really do appreciate your reading.
Like I said before, this novel is based on my life in some ways so I'm not entirely sure if there will be a sequel. It depends on if something big happens between the characters in the story worthy of writing about and sharing with you guys. I hope I'm able to write another book about Carson and Mae and maybe that one will have a happy ending, but I'm waiting to see where God takes me.
Also, because you might be wondering I just want to share a piece of wisdom I've learned these past couple of months:
Love is not all what you think. There is heartbreaks and
confusion piled on top of the loyalty and trust. Not every
relationship you thought was meant to be will last. Carson
and Mae represent that amazingly. When they flashback
into the time they were in love, they realized just how much
things can change overtime. They found new people and
passions. Your decisions will carve your path, the choices
Carson and Mae committed to, led them down different
rodes, causing them to separate in the end. So in the long
run, things may not be what you thought they would become
of, sometimes it's just the right thing to do and say goodbye
because your life is leading in a new direction.Again, I thank you guys so so so much for all you've done. I couldn't have asked for more support. I love you guys all and hope I have you again in another book of mine.
Love you<333
