I see him.
He smiles, then I smile.
I start to cry.
He lies that he doesn't hear me.
He smiles.
I show a faint broken emotion,
I smile.
I woke up.
"Morning"! Barred was in the door way waving.
"Good morning". I wonder how Richie is doing?
"How did you sleep"? I think he had a lollipop on his mouth.
"Good, what about you"? He took the lollipop out.
"Pretty good, want breakfast"?
"Yeah thanks". I got up and we walked to the kitchen. He started to cook something and I sat at the table.
"You like fruit"? I started to laugh.
"Yes".
"See I'm not such a bad person". He finished getting me fruit so I ate it then he came to the table with a omelette.
"Wow your a good cook". I was amazed.
"Yeah I guess thanks. We were sitting there talking for a little while. Then we went to the park. And when we got back it was dark and like 8ish. I sat on the couch. I missed Richie a lot and I was kinda sad. Barred came and sat right next to me.
"What's wrong"? He smiled.
"I miss Richie and can I ask what you did to Celeste"?
"I put her to sleep". I gasped.
"No I didn't kill her, I just made her asleep"!
"Oh".
"Do you really love him"? He looked sad now.
"Yeah a lot". I smiled.
"Come on. We walked into a room with a door that was slightly open, it had white light coming from it.
"Where are we"? He smiled.
"I'm sorry I did all this, that door is a way back to your normal life". He pointed to it.
"Thank you so much Barred".
"No problem, I won't bother you or Richard anymore". He started to walk away, I grabbed his arm. He looked back surprised.
"Stop by sometime and we'll talk everything out ok"? We smiled at each other.
"I'm gonna miss you". He hugged me and I hugged him back.
"Try not to get into trouble ok"?
"I'll see you soon". I started to walk towards the door.
"Goodbye Barred". I waved. He stepped closer.
"Never say goodbye, I'll see you again, and like you said we'll talk through it".
"Ok, see you soon". He ran up to me and kissed my forehead. Then I waved and stepped through the door.
"You know, I know you will wake up. I miss you a lot. Your smile, and those beautiful eyes". I opened my eyes and I was on my bed and Richie was sitting at the end. I didn't do anything but just sit there and smile. He looked at me then away then back really fast.
"My princess is back"! He hugged me. I hugged him back.
"I missed you so much Richie".
"I missed you more"!
"I love you". He said while hugging me.
"I love you too".
"Where were you"? We pulled apart and he looked at me.
"Another world". I smiled.
"What did Barred do to you"?
"Nothing, let's discuss this later". It was still 8 so I can only imagine what Richie had been doing all this time.
"Are you ok"?
"I'm perfect now that I'm with you". I hugged him, he hugged me back.
"I was going insane without you". I put my head in the crease of his neck.
"What were you doing"?
"Uh nothing"... I could tell he was embarrassed, cute😂.
"Do you miss barred like when you 2 used to get along"?
"Yeah, of course I do. But he's not a good person".
"Don't you think everyone deserves a second chance"? He looked at me like I was crazy.
"What are you talking about"?
"You will probably get it tomorrow".
"Usually I would worried but I'm jut glad your back in my arms".
"Me too".
"Are you hungry sweetheart"?
"No, I had food earlier". He looked at me like I was crazy again.
"Ok, do you want to play cards again"?
"Sure". I got the cards and opened the box thy were in.
"What game do you want to play princess"?
"Slap jacks"? We both smirked. He dealed the cards and we started to play.
"Sandwich"! I slapped it.
"I'm letting you win".
"Mhm sure". I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Let my love open the door, to your heart"! He started singing badly. Then he stood up and started dancing. I got up and he spun me.
"What are you doing"? I was laughing.
"When people keep repeating that you'll never fall in love when everybody keeps retreating but you can't seem to get enough"! He sang and we danced.

"When did you start to sing and dance Richie"? I was still laughing.
"Ever since I was happy, when everything feels all over, when everybody seems unkind, I'll give you a 4 leaf clover,take all your worry out of the world"! I laughed more. But what does he mean ever since I was happy.
"What do you mean by ever since you were happy"? He spun me around.
"Ever since you came back". He dipped me, I think that what it's called in dancing.
"Let my love open the door"! I sang, he smiled and sang.

"Me too". We just sang and danced to different songs. I'm glad I'm back!
