Chapter.19

I woke up. It was sun rise.
"Good morning sweetheart". Richie greeted me. He was standing in the door way with jeans on and a t shirt.
"Good morning". I smiled and waved. But then my smile went away when I remembered what's gonna happen today. Barred is coming to "talk". We never like set a date but I'm assuming he's coming today.
"What's wrong". Richie sat next to me on my bed. His hair was wet, he probably just took a shower.
"Nothing I'm fine, I'm just hungry that's all"! I smiled. He looked confused, but he believed me.
"Ok, hmm what do you want for breakfast"?
"Vanilla cupcake pop tart". He rolled his eyes but smiled.
"I'll have the chocolate ones". We went down stairs to the kitchen. Then got our food and sat the table.
"Ugh"! I groaned.
"What"? He looked confused again.
"I'm literally eating right now right, but my stomach grumbling"! I sighed.
"How nice". He chuckled.
"It's annoying"!
"Mhm sure it is".
"Just eat your pop tart boy"!
"You sound like Celeste". He chuckled. I stopped smiling. How could I forget about her? Oh my God I hope she's ok!
"Celeste"?!! I screamed, btw my parents are at work so 😂.
"Calm down what happened"? He took my hand and we sat on the couch.
"I don't know"!
"Calm down, I'm sure she's fine". He put his arm around me and smiled.
"Then why isn't she here"?
"Bathroom"? He smiled again.
"I'm serious Richie, why isn't she here! Celeste"!! I called out again.
"Sweet heart, you need to calm down, she's probably fine".
"Yeah I know you said that"! I snapped at him. He wasn't smiling he had no emotion on his face.
"Calm down". He still had no emotion on his face.
"Sorry, I'm just so worried about her". Wait a minute Barred said she was asleep.
"That's it"! I screamed. Richie smiled.
"What"? I stood up.
"Barred"?!!! I screamed. Richie stood up and put his hand on my shoulder.
"What are you doing"? He looked a little mad now.
"Getting my friend back, barred"?!
"Why would you call him"?!
"Hi doll". Barred waved.
"Hi, where's Celeste"? He looked a little worried.
"Um she's still asleep".
"What"?!
"She's most likely gonna wake up today or tomorrow".
"What is that supposed to mean"?!
"What is going on here"! Richie screamed.
"Richard please, the adults are talking". Oh here we go.
"What"?! Richie screamed.
"This isn't your business so just sit down pal"! Barred shouted.
"WILL BOTH OF YOU SHUTUP"!!!! I screamed.
"Handle your stupid arguments later, Celeste is more important"!
"I told you she'll wake up today or tomorrow".
"I'll keep you posted tho". Barred said.
"Fine, now barred do you know what we talked about"?
"Yeah".
"Ok, so talk". I sat on the couch. Then Richie did and put his arm around me, I think it was some sort of protection in his mind.
"What going on"? Richie asked.
"Barred explain". I said.
"Ok, look Richard I know I did some bad things and"... Richie stood up right away.
"Some bad things, all you ever do is ruin people's life, you can't do anything right, you are a jerk, don't you dare try and apologize, it's not gonna work I'm never forgiving you, you stupid annoying loser"! Wow.
"Richie"! I stood up too.
"What it's true".
"I may be annoying but I'm not stupid". Barred said.
"Guys"!! They both looked at me.
"Can we please try and settle this"? I smiled.
"You don't get it, this isn't one of your stupid girl fights that we can talk out, wake up sweetie"! Barred shouted. Richie stepped in front of me.
"DONT TALK TO HER LIKE THAT"! Richie screamed.
"I can talk to her how ever I want"!
"You know what, I'm sorry Barred I thought you were more mature than this, but I guess not. You need to leave"! I tried to step in front of Richie, but he wouldn't let me.
"Yeah no kidding, that's great for me right you stuck up b***h"!
"THATS IT, LEAVE RIGHT NOW OR SO HELP ME GOD ILL THROW YOU OUT MY SELF"! Richie screamed as loud as he could. Barred left.
"He is such a jerk, see what I've been telling you is true"! I started to walk away.
"You think I'm stupid too, thanks". I started going up the stairs, yes I walk very fast don't judge, anyway...
"I don't think your stupid, maybe you were a little naive, but not stupid".
"Just admit, I get in your way all the time, I'm annoying and stupid"! He ran up to me and I started walking up more stairs when he took my wrist lightly.
"You don't get in my way, your not annoying and your not stupid".
"Whenever you tell me to not do something I always don't listen, maybe that's because I'm stupid and annoying".
"You know what's annoying how your acting right now"! He said with a little anger in his voice.
"What's the matter realizing that your girlfriend is annoying"? I broke away from his hand and went to my room, I don't know why but I didn't close the door. He came quick, Jesus what is he the flash.
"What are you talking about"? He stood in the door way.
"Like Celeste said, every shadow and human have things in common, I guess you and Barred have the same opinion on me"?!
"Is this because of him, don't let him get to you"!
"He hasn't gotten to me, you have"!
"What"?
"You obviously think I'm dumb and annoying"!

My phone was ringing. I answered it.
"Hello"?
"Hi babe how's life going"?
"Ahhh, oh my god where are you"?!
"Who"? Richie said confused.
"I'll tell you later, so girl you free today"?
"Yes and no"?
"What do you have a boyfriend"? She asked happily.
"I don't know any more".
"Karen"?! Richie screamed. He was right my friend Karen had called me.
"Is that Richard in the background"? She sounded happy.
"Yeah, he's here".
"Oh wait a minute is he your boyfriend"?
"I'm not really sure".
"Oh, do you want me to stop by"?
"Of course your always welcome".
"Ok, I'll be there at 12".
"Ok see you soon".
"Bye bestie".
"Bye bestie". I hung up and Richies face was like 😑☹️😮 all mixed together.
"What"? I asked.
"She's coming over"?
"Yeah at 12 why"?
"No reason".
"You think I'm dumb enough not to realize that you hate her"?!
"For the last time your not stupid"!
"Yeah mhm I'll keep telling me self that".
"Why are you acting so weird"?
"Oh lovely now I'm weird too"!

My phone was ringing again. It was Karen again 😂.
"Hello".
"Hi I forgot to mention I missed you so much and that I have lots to tell you"!
"Aww thanks your so nice"!
"I know see you later slay babe".
"Bye twin"! Richie just rolled his eyes.
"Her again"?
"Yes".
"Why"?
"She had something to tell me".
"What"?
"Does it matter"?
"Yes".

"Because I'm your boyfriend and I'd like to know".
"Hold that thought". I got a text from Karen.

"Can we have a conversation without her calling you or texting you"?

My phone rang again.
"Ugh"! Richie groaned.
"Hello"?
"Hi darling"!
"Hi mom". I gave Richie the death stare.
"Your father and I are gonna be really late coming home today".
"Ok".
"I have to go"!
"Ok bye love...". She hung up.
"Who does that"?!
"What"? Richie looked up from the floor.
"I was about to say I love you and she hangs up"!
"She's probably, well, um, just don't think about it".
"Have your parents done it to you"?
"No".
"Well this is great im annoying and my parents hate me"!
"Listen, this is the dumbest fight ever, can we let it go"? I sat on the floor with my knees up.
"Sure". I rolled my eyes. He walked in my room and sat right next to me with his legs crossed.
"And about your parents I wouldn't let that get to you".
"Imagine us in the future, your home and we both have jobs, but each morning you wake up and I'm not there and most if the night too, then I call you, your happy because we don't really talk to see each other any more, then I tell you that I'm coming home extra late, your sad a little, but not surprised. I say I have to go no I love you or anything then your about to say I love you and I hang up on you, I don't think you would let that go".
