Chapter.4

I heard my alarm go off. It's spring break.
"Finally it's Sunday"!!! I'm so happy I get to see Celeste!! I have so many more questions!! I got out of bed and went to my window. I just realized my shadow is waving!!
"Good morning"! Celeste said.
"Hi"!
"You sound happy".
"I have many questions".
"Go ahead".
"Ok so how many "special" people are there who can hear their shadows"?
"More than you think, some in your school".
"Really"??!
"Want to meet some later today"? How does she even know this stuff?!
"Sure..."
"I gotta run, I'll see you later"!
"See you soon". As quick as she came she was gone. I wonder who else can hear their shadows? Maybe someone in my grade? I mean there's this one guy, Richard. He's like really hot, strong, brave, smart,funny, and nice. But not very popular. He's one of my closest friends. I got to admit I have a crush on him. He has black hair and blue eyes!! I don't know if he likes me back though. This is sort of random but oh well, my story 😏. I have like 10-18 friends. I have 4 closest friends! I told you about Richard😍. Then there is ruachel, she's really smart and caring. Next is my friend victor, he's very smart, funny, kind, and into techy stuff. Finally there is my friend Cj, he is so funny and nice! Write when I was thinking about this, I heard my ring time on my phone go off.

Sure, my house or yours?
I guess yours, I'll be over at 12.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention Richard calls me princess, for a nickname. I call him Richie. I took a shower, had a bowl of grapes and started to put on music and practice my music for chorus. I practiced for like an hour. Now I just put on my playlist from my phone. I favorite song came on!! I then took a book out and got comfy on my bed. I left the front door open and texted Richie that the door was open. I was full blasting my music, then Richie came in my room.
"Nice music"! He smirked.
"Thanks". I smiled.
"Want to turn it down"? He rolled his eyes and smiled.
"No, but because your my friend I will".
"So what do you want to do"? He smiled.
"Whatever you want".
"Want to go outside"? NO CHRISTINA YOUR SHADOW,REMEMBER?!?!!
"Sure". I put down my book, turned off the music and we put our shoes on and went outside.
"Want to go on your zip line"? He said pointing to it.
"Ok". We walked up to it. I hopped on first and while I was going I heard my shadow talk. I screamed...loud.
"Are you ok"?!? Richie yelled.
"Yeah, I thought I saw something". He pulled me back, then he went on and I pulled him back.
"Want to go on the trampoline princess"?
"Sure", I giggled. We got on and we started to jump. Then I saw my shadow wave. I stoped jumping and looked at her.
"What are you looking at"?richie looked at me as if I had 10 heads.
"Ladybug". I said quickly.
"Are you sure your ok"?
"Yeah, I'm fine". I smiled and put on the music on my phone. Fall out boy came on, so I started jumping really high.
"I'm assuming you like fall out boy"? Richie chuckled.
"I love them"!!!
"More than me"? Um what, I just giggled.
"What"? I giggled more.
"Nothing". He smiled. We started jumping. Then I started to sing along.
"Come on Richie, dance"!
"Ugh"...
"Come on its not that hard".
"Ok". He started doing a disco thing. I started to crack up.
"Oh my god". I kept laughing.
"What's the matter can't stand my awesomeness"?? He smiled.
"Oh god, it's to much I'm dying from his cringy dancing"!
"I'm not that bad". He laughed.
"No comment". I smiled.
"Want to go inside and watch a horror movie or something"? He asked.
"Sure". I smiled. We went inside took off our shoes. Then I put my phone on it's charger. And went to my living room. With my big tv.
"What horror movie"? I asked.
"Um, how about the lodge"?
"The one about the couple and the murder"?
"Yup". He looked happy. I pressed play, then I paused it and shut all the blinds and curtains. And got comfy next to Richie on the couch. We started watching it. We were about 39 minutes in when there was a jump scare where I screamed loud and looked away. Then Richie stroked my hair and said it's only the beginning of the movie. I then looked back at the screen. I kept screaming and looking away. The at a really gory part, I looked away and gagged.
Richie kept stroking my hair when I got scared and looked away.
"You scared"? He smirked, eyes on the screen.
"Maybe". I smiled. He rolled his eyes and looked at me.
"Do you want to pause it and get some popcorn or something"? He asked reaching for the remote.
"Sure". We paused it and went to my kitchen. Richie got the popcorn bag from my pantry and put it in the microwave.
"Your scared"? He smirked.
"No I'm not". I then looked on the ground and screamed, because Celeste was there waving and smiling, but it looked creepy.
"What's wrong"?! Richie yelled.
"I just got scared".
"Tell me what's really going on". I sat on the floor. Then Richie took out the popcorn and put on the counter, then sat next Me and put his arm around me.
"You won't understand Richie". I looked at him sad.
"Yes I will, you can tell me anything".
