I'm Not Okay [EXO's BaekHyun fanfic]

Chapter 2

BaekHyun took you home that night. The two of you decided to go to the movies and then have supper at a place nearby. When the two of you reached your front door, BaekHyun made you look at him.

"promise me that you will never let me go," said BaekHyun, "you're the only person I want to marry in my life. no one else. Don't worry about our parents. I'll handle that myself later on."

You nodded. BaekHyun kissed you on the forehead.

"when are you free next?" asked BaekHyun

"aren't you busy yourself?" you asked

"well I am but I want to spend time with you babe," replied BaekHyun

"hummm I have an exam this week. Maybe we can go on a study date?" you suggested

"sounds good," replied BaekHyun, "I'll pick you up tomorrow,"

You nodded. BaekHyun lean in and kissed you on the lips. You couldn't believe how quickly this was moving. Then he walked off while you walked into the house. When you walked in, all the lights were off. You assumed that your parents were still out. Hence, you sneakily went upstairs to your room. As you walked upstairs, you were stopped by EunJin.

"where were you??" asked EunJin

"Aren't you with the parents?" you asked

"I decided to come home because it was boring," replied EunJin, "you haven't answered my question though."

"I....I decided to go to the library to study," you stuttered

"where are your books?" asked EunJin.

"my friend needs to borrow them," you lied

"stop lying!" yelled EunJin, "you were on the date with BaekHyun. I saw you! I saw the two of you together! You know how much I love him. Can't you stop being so damn close to him? He doesn't love you. He only loves me."

"unnie stop," you said

"you better stop seeing him," warned EunJin, "BaekHyun and I are getting married soon. You better stop seeing him or else I will tell mum and dad. I don't know the consequences that will happen if you don't stop."

EunJin marched back to her room. You froze, completely shocked. You didn't know what to do. Should you keep seeing BaekHyun or not? You were really worried. You walked back to your room slowly. Tears form in your eyes. Your phone rang. There was a message from BaekHyun.

BaekHyun: Jagiya! Sleep tight! Today has been the best day in my life. Let's continue to make memories together. saranghae!

Your tears came down like a waterfall.. You felt so hopeless that you didn't know what to do.

The next day, BaekHyun came over to your house. He knocked on your door. Your mum opened the door.

"oh BaekHyun! It's nice to see you here! Come in!" greeted your mother.

BaekHyun bowed and walked in. He went to the living room.

"How are you eonomi?" asked BaekHyun

"good. good," replied your mother, "BaekHyun you're such a good son-in-law. You're here to visit EunJin already."

"wait..." started BaekHyun

"BaekHyun!" called EunJin.

EunJin walked down from the stairs. He gave BaekHyun a hug. BaekHyun just smiled.

"EunJin-ar," said BaekHyun

"I thought you were coming at 2pm. You're here relatively early," started EunJin.

BaekHyun was speechless. He doesn't know what to say.

"I thought I would be here earlier so we can go out to eat before we go and study," replied BaekHyun

"but I don't have anything to study," replied EunJin, "I finished my exams already. So have you,"

BaekHyun paused. He was thinking of what else to say.

"no I mean study for next unit's work," replied BaekHyun, "you know...we're going to be busy with our intern."

"let's go and watch a movie instead," said EunJin

"alright," replied BaekHyun

EunJin smiled. Your mother laughed.

"wow! I never knew the relationship between the two of you was this fast," said your mother, "looks like it was an excellent idea to get the two of you engaged."

EunJin smiled.

"where's (y/n)?" asked BaekHyun

"I don't know," replied EunJin, "I don't think she's at home though. Her room is empty."

Did she just left me? Did she ignored all the words I said last night? wondered BaekHyun

"BaekHyun, just wait here for a bit," said EunJin, "i'm going to get changed and then we can head off together."

BaekHyun nodded. EunJin walked up.

"BaekHyun just have a seat. I'm going to get ready as well to meet your mother," said your mother.

"yes eonomi," replied BaekHyun.

When your mother went up, BaekHyun tried to call you.

The person you have called is unavailable. Please try again another time.

BaekHyun sighed. He couldn't believe what happened. He was stuck the rest of the day with a person that he doesn't love.
