I'm Not Okay [EXO's BaekHyun fanfic]

Chapter 15

BaekHyun, his father and your father arrived in front of your parents' house after the 2 hour drive. 

"thanks for the drive back," said your father.

As your father got out of the car, BaekHyun got out as well. His father followed.

"abeoji, can I see EunJin for a bit," said BaekHyun.

Your father nodded. Your father opened the door and lead the way.

"Yeobo! I'm home," said your father.

Your mother walked out from the kitchen.

"where did you go?" asked your mother worryingly, "it's 11:30pm. You should have called me!"

"I was out with these two," said your father, "where's EunJin?"

"in her room," said your mother, "I'll get her,"

Your mother went upstairs to get EunJin. BaekHyun sat on the couch with his father and your father. He was slightly nervous. BaekHyun's father held on his hand to reassure him that everything is fine.  EunJin came down a minute later. BaekHyun stood up. EunJin walked over and hugged BaekHyun.

"how nice for you to see me," said EunJin, "I miss you so much!"

BaekHyun cleared his throat. EunJin let go of his hug.

"Baek...are you okay?" asekd EunJin.

"EunJin-ar," said BaekHyun, "let's get a divorce."

EunJin wasn't shocked. She just laughed.

"what? are we having this argument again?" asked EunJin, "I told you, I'm carrying your child. why do you wan to divorce me?"

"Because the child isn't mine!" yelled BaekHyun

"stop saying that!" yelled EunJin, "you're going to hurt the baby!"

"BaekHyun, if you're seeing EunJin just for the divorce, please just give up," said your mother, "we will not allow this to happen,"

"then I will go to court with you," said BaekHyun, "I have enough evidence to prove that the child isn't mine and that EunJin has been cheating on me,"

BaekHyun pulled out the yellow envelope from his coat. Then he gave it to your father. Your father pulled it out and read everything. He was shocked that EunJin was with a different man every single night. Photos of her nude were also posted online. She was basically a prostitute.  Your father was shocked. He glared at EunJin. He got up and then slapped EunJin.

"appa!" yelped EunJin.

"I've taught you well for your entire life!" yelled your father, "How does it feel when I find out that my daughter, who is a well known doctor at Seoul Hospital, becoming a prostitute after er hours? i'm heartbroken now! How did I raise such disgraceful daughter?"

Your mother grabbed his shoulder.

"yeobo," said your mother calmly,

"from now on, I never want to see you ever again," declared your father, "I don't have have such disgraceful daughter. I don't want a daughter who is a prostitute, who got pregnant with another man's child. Tomorrow, you don't have to work at the hospital anymore. You are fired. Also, if you don't want to get a divorce with BaekHyun, he will go to court to get it sorted. I will support him in every single way. Just you wait Kim EunJin."

Your father grabbed the file and his jacket. He stopped in front of his wife.

"also if you're going to help this daughter of ours, I will never speak to you," said your father to your mother, "I will divorce you as well for supporting such irresponsible daughter."

Your father walked out of the house. BaekHyun and his father followed him, in case he does anything stupid. BaekHyun decided to drive his father and your father to Han River, where the three of them chatted. Your father sighed while drinking a can of beer.

"sometimes it seems that your life is better than mine mate," said your father to BaekHyun's father, "you have a son who is obedient, who follow your goals and do whatever you tell them to. I, on the other hand, have two daughters who don't listen to me at all. One of them I thought will reach my expectations. However, I was disappointed by her actions. The other is independent and want to do things her way. at a young age (y/n) likes to challenge whatever I say. It could be annoying sometimes answering her question but it's fun watching her little mind being curious."

Your father and BaekHyun just nodded. 

"come on," said BaekHyun's father, "we should go and get some rest. Sleep over at my place in the meantime. BaekHyun will drive you tomorrow morning to pick (y/n) up from the hospital."

Your father nodded. BaekHyun's father helped your father back in the car as he was slightly drunk. BaekHyun sighed. He felt bad for your father. When he found out that EunJin was a prostitute, he was equally as shocked.  However, he was slightly happy because he has another reason why he should divorce her. After driving home, BaekHyun helped your father to BaekHyun's bed. He placed a cold tower over your father's head to cool him down. Then he took a 2 hour nap before getting up and driving all the way to JeonJu to pick you up. He arrived at approximately 8AM. He walked over to your room. You were shocked to see him. He walked over and hugged you straight away.

"thank god you're alright," said BaekHyun.

You laughed.

"why wouldn't I be okay?" you asked.

"I had a nightmare that EunJin would hurt you," said BaekHyun.

You stopped laughing. You looked at BaekHyun. You noticed his dark circles has increased.

"oppa...you looked tired," you commented.

"I'm alright," replied BaekHyun

"what happen? Did you get enough sleep? is the drive JeonJu tiring?" you asked

"I'm divorcing EunJin," said BaekHyun.

You looked at him. You were slightly shocked. You know he was doing this for you.

"oppa...." you started.

"no. it wasn't because of you," said BaekHyun, "it wasn't 100% because of you. It was because she started dating and having sex with other men. The baby isn't mine. She turned into a prostitute after working hours at the hospital."

You were shocked. You couldn't believe what you were hearing.

"how did you find out?" you asked.

"appa sent JongDae to investigate the case," replied BaekHyun.

"does anyone else know about this?" you asked.

"your parents," replied BaekHyun.

"how did they react?" you asked

"your father was very disappointed," said BaekHyun, "We went to Han River and he drank several cans of beer. He's currently in my room sleeping,"

"oh," you said.

Then Dr Yoo knocked on your door. He did a final check up before declaring that you could leave the hospital. However, you need to go back to Seoul Hospital as you still need to focus on your recovery. BaekHyun helped you into the car. He then started the drive back to Seoul.

"oppa, can I stop by your place before we go to the hospital," you asked.

"you want to see your father?" asked BaekHyun

You nodded.

"okay. but get some rest for now," said BaekHyun, "get some sleep! you need more sleep! especially after a surgery."

You nodded. Soon enough you fell into a deep sleep. BaekHyun focus on the drive home, trying to drive quicker so the father and daughter can reunite.
