Chapter 7

The next day, JongDae arrived at your ward. He saw that BaekHyun was nowhere to been seen. You on the other hand were watching TV. You smiled when you saw JongDae. He walked over to you.

"how are you feeling?" asked JongDae

"i'm okay. what about you?" you replied

"I'm alright. I'm here to get my wounds treated. BaekHyun sure got a really hot looking nurse to treat my wounds," replied JongDae

"i knew it! you were here for the nurses! You weren't here for the wounds!" you laughed

"ya!" yelled JongDae

The two of you laughed.

"Where's BaekHyun?" asked JongDae, "i could see that all of his belongings are here."

"working I guess," you replied, "he hasn't been going home. He said he doesn't want to go home."

"can you get up now?' asked JongDae

"nope. I'm always in bed," you replied, "BaekHyun doesn't want me to go outside. Also, I can't move physically. I'm still struggling."

"get better soon cute dongsang," said JongDae

You nodded. Then someone knocked at your door. The person opened it.

"(y/n) your food is here," said the nurse as she closed the door, "oh JongDae! you're here as well!"

"noona!" called JongDae

"thank you unnie," you replied, "can you feed me? I still can't really move,"

"I believe BaekHyun will be here in a couple of minutes," said Nurse Park, "if not, I'll feed you,"

"what did you bring for me today?" you asked

"congee. But this time, my mum made it," said Nurse Park, "when I told mum that you were in hospital, she was worried. She told me to bring some congee for you. ChanYeol said he will come and visit you as well,"

In high school, you would follow BaekHyun to go to ChanYeol's house to play. That's how her mum knows you.

"thank you unnie," you replied.

Then someone knock on the door.

"speaking of the devil, someone special is here," laughed Nurse Park.

BaekHyun opened the door. ChanYeol also walked in.

"ChanYeol oppa!" you called.

ChanYeol came over and gave you a hug.

"how are you feeling?" asked ChanYeol

"getting better slowly," you replied, "how are the animals?"

ChanYeol and you work at the same place.

"hummm I think they miss you," replied ChanYeol, "the ones that you take care of look really sad. I think they're waiting for you to come back."

"ahhhhh I see," you replied.

"where's my hug," complained BaekHyun.

"someone's jealous!" laughed JongDae

BaekHyun came over and gave you a hug.

"are you sure you're feeling fine?" asked BaekHyun, "no headaches? No pain?"

"just uncomfortable," you replied, "I don't want to be here anymore. i don't like how I have to hide from everyone and that I can't even go to the gardens."

"you're still weak (y/n)," replied BaekHyun, "I'm doing this for your own good."

You nodded. BaekHyun did a quick check up on you. He measured your heart rate and checked your breathing.
