Chapter 10

You are progressively getting better and better. BaelHyun's father checks on you at the start of the day. Then your dad will come and visit you during your lunch break. This is your father and daughter bonding time. Afterwords, in the evening, BaekHyun will stay with you until you decided to go to sleep. This has been the occasional routine. You have visitors here and there such as ChanYeol, JongDae and YooRa. ChanYeol's parents and JongDae's parents also come and visit you as they know you.  Today marks 1 month since you have been hositalised. You again tried to get out from your bed. However, you were too weak as your body is still recovering. BaekHyun opened the door as you tried to get up. He saw how hard you were trying. He walked over to you.

"don't try too hard jagi," warned BaekHyun, "we don't want you to overexhaust yourself."

"but its so boring staying in the room," you replied

"hummmm. i can push you around in a wheelchair," said BaekHyun

"can we go outside??" you asked

"let me check on your condition first," replied BaekHyun

BaekHyun did a quick check up on you. He measured your blood pressure and your heart rate.

"hummmm slightly low on blood pressure,"  commented BaekHyun, "did you eat everything?"

"no," you replied

"why jagi?" asked BaekHyun

"i don't like the hospital food," you replied ,"every time i see them, it reminds me of the food prisoners get."

BaekHyun laughed when he heard that.

"wae~~! its not funny!" you exclaimed

"why are you so cute!" teased BaekHyun, "I'll bring you food from tomorrow onwards. I'll cook them myselves."

"really?" you asked.

BaekHyun nodded.

"come on! let's go outside!" exclaimed BaekHyun

BaekHyun carried you and placed you on the wheel chair. Then he pushed you out. This is the first time you have left your ward since 2 weeks ago. You were still surprised to see how big it is. BaekHyun pushed you to the garden. Then he found a sunny area for you. He sat on the seat nearby.

"i always come to the hospital to visit appa when i was little," you started, "i never knew this area was so prettu."

"remember when we were kids, we used to run around here a lot?" asked BaekHyun

"yep," you replied "we would run around, while waiting for our fathers to finish work while EunJin unnie would sit in the corner and read."

You were recalling the memories. You have came to this hospital a lot as your dad has been working here ever since you were born.

"how does it feel coming outside?" asked BaekHyun

"i like it," you replied, "i want to come out like this every day."

"I'll push you out every day," said BaekHyun, "if not, I'll make sure appa or abeoji will bring you out."

"thank you,"you replied

The two of you stayed silent. Then BaekHyun held onto your hand. You glanced at him.

"what are you doing?" you asked while removing your hand from him

"i want to hold onto my jagi's hand," whined BaekHyun

"this is a public area," you said, "you're married already. what will your workmates think of you when they see you holding onto another woman's hand?"
