Chapter 32 Ritual

I woke up with my head pounding and my hands and feet tied together.

I had a blind fold on and tape covered my mouth stopping sound from making its way out.

All I could do was muffle, I tried moving around and my arms felt two other people beside me.

I shook my head and the blind fold fell lose.

It's was daylight.

I looked over to see Max on my left and Van on my right.

Jonny and Jordan sat next to Van, we were in the field.

Surrounded by trees I couldn't see anyone or hear anything not even birds it was eerily quiet.

I felt the tight rope around my hand and I had an idea.

I slipped my arms under my legs so I could take off Max's blind fold.

When I did she looked at me with wide tired eyes and gave me a confused looked.

I ripped off the tape covering her mouth, "Ow!" she cried, "that hurts!"

"Shhh!" I whispered hoping Danny and his gang wasn't near by.

The others wiggles around not knowing what was going on.

I took off Vans blind fold and tape then Max took off Jonny and Jordan's.

"Where are we?!" I asked Van, he moved his arms under his legs and then slipped a knife out of his pocket.

"We'r going to die!" Jonny said, Jordan bumped him with her arm, "Nice way of being positive Jonny!" She said.

Van looked over a me, " We'r in Pawstone meadow," he said.

"Oh no" I heard Max say and I looked out in the grass in front of us.

There was a open book with a different language and several candles.

I gulped and knew we had to get out of here.

I tried standing up but I struggled to get beyond the ropes.

I looked at Van who had just got done freeing his feet.

He kneeled by me and started cutting the rope at my feet.

Just then we heard someone walking behind us and Danny and a bunch of other people came out of the woods.

"Well look who awake" Danny said and two boy not like Hunter and Bo but bigger grabbed Van and held him back.

The knife fell to the ground, Danny picked it up and threw it behind him.

"Do you know how rude it is to try and leave without tell us? I mean we invited  you to our special party and you want to go." Danny said.

"What do you want with us?" I asked looking at Van who was looking worryingly at me.

"What is this? Why are you doing this?" Jordan said in panic.

"We want power and respect," a person behind Danny shouted.

Confused Danny explained, "For years only strong genes give a person powerful ability but is it really fair to the other wolfs?" We have talent and you shouldn't have to be born with powers you should be able to chose them." So we all got together and came up with a great idea to get those powers and be even stronger then a golden wolf." We will conduct a serum that will give us the ability to have the qualities of a regular wolf but be 10x as strong, fast, and most importantly the great howl." And together we can take control of the pack no every pack!" And when we lead no one can stop us."

He came close to my face, "Not even a gold wolf,"

"We're gonna stop you" Van said struggling to get lose.

"How oh great and mighty alpha?" He said, "your tied up and your little girlfriend and friends will die."

"The best part is it will be all your fault," he whispered in Vans face.

He laughed as did everyone one else with their wicked smiles and grins.

Danny turned towards his group, "The Dark Circle will rise!" He shouted.

They cheered, "Tie him up"

They tied Van very tightly to a tree and two of his group members stood beside us looking and guarding us as they move things around to get ready.

"I'm sorry we lied," Max said looking down ashamed.

"Yeah we should have told you," Jonny said.

"It's okay I'm not mad," I said understanding.

"What's a Luna?" I asked, "Danny said that the other gold wolf tried to become Luna."

"When a Alpha marries a wolf she because the Luna," Max explained.

"One more question why did you and Skylur break up?" I asked.

She took a deep breathe, " He's moving," I looked at her surprised, "his parent just got a divorce and he is moving with his dad to Nevada."

"I'm sorry" I said.

"It's okay I have you guy and I'm sure it's for the best," said Max with misty eyes.

"Now it's time to mix the serum and then drink it," Danny said.

He put different kinds of plants and weird green and blue stuff I couldn't name in a big pot while looking into the book, then after mixing in a unknown liquid he turned to us.

"Now it's time for the last ingredient," his voice became a creepy and sinister sound that stung my ears.

"The main ingredient the blood of a Aife," he gave us a scary smile.

My heart speed up and couldn't feel anything.

Van looked terrified and Danny came up to me with a knife holding it at my neck.

The cold blade pressed against my skin and I looked into his evil eyes.

"NO!" Van screamed.
