Time seemed to go fairly quickly after lunch; the daylight felt like a blur. Everything had gone smoothly at soundcheck, which was always a good sign to a great show. Since it was his debut performance, expectations were high, but we were all confident tonight he'd surpass them.

Once we had gotten back to the hotel, preparation for tonight began. Ashleigh and I had plans to do a face mask and get ready together while the guys had their own thing going on. They always complained how we took longer to get ready so we always tried to start earlier, if possible.

I kept my outfit fairly simple - and dark; tight ripped jeans, a black spaghetti-strapped top that ended fairly high on my torso, a pair of my favorite black strappy heels on my feet, and my new jacket to wear over. I had a feeling that I'd eventually get too hot and discard the jacket once inside the club, but I decided to endure it anyway for the sake of the outfit; only girls would understand. With my hair tied up in a ponytail, a cute black velvet choker around my neck and a red lip, I was ready to go.

It must have been a good hour or so before Ashleigh had decided on an outfit. My beloved cousin had decided to wear dark jeans with a silver, satin top and silver heels to match, and it looked amazing on her. She decided to keep her hair down but in loose blonde curls which framed her face perfectly.

One by one, we collectively came together, meeting in the living room. Compliments on fresh faces and outfits were exchanged; I had received a few from Slim, Baze, and Kells, which I returned with a smiley thank you. Ashleigh had approved my outfit the moment I had pulled it all together.

On the drive there, Kells had informed the group that Tallywood and his wife, Abbie, would be meeting us there, along with Pia, which caused an involuntary scoff to escape my lips. No one noticed due to the loud music playing in the large vehicle, which I secretly thanked God for since I probably wouldn't have been able to explain my action if someone had heard and questioned it.

I guess I was a little taken back at lunch after Slim had made the unexpected announcement, but that was mostly because everyone else seemed unfazed by the news. Based on everyone else's impassive expression, I was the only one out of the loop. I was last to know and I didn't understand why.

And it was bothering the hell out of me.

The Uber ride didn't last nearly as long as I thought it was going to, especially with the club located off the strip; our driver really knew his way around and was a pro at alternating lanes when need be. I even gave him a thumbs up for good work when we had gotten to our destination, complimenting him on his impressive driving skills; Rook just laughed at me.

Drais had assigned us one of the VIP balconies with a perfect view of the stage in honor of the new residency; the best part was we'd get it every time Kells was in town too, which the boys were very excited about.

Once inside the club, my eyes adjusted quickly to the lack of hard light and welcomed the colorful strobe lighting above. The loud bass of the music playing and the tight crowd on the dance floor occupied my senses and I grabbed at Kells' arm just so I wouldn't swim away with the flow of the crowd. He gave me a quick smile as he led the way to the gated entrance to the balconies.

After a short conversation with the bouncer, the group was allowed through and escorted to our assigned balcony. Immediately, we were welcomed by the beautiful couple, who had taken it upon themselves to order the first round of bottle service to congratulate Kells; he was ecstatic and even more excited to see faces he hadn't seen in awhile.

I gave both of them a quick hug, mentioning how it was great to see them again, and even complimented Abbie on her silky white dress; she always looked amazing, which was nothing out of the ordinary. We quickly caught up as the guys started to get comfortable in their surroundings; bottles had been popped and poured and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
