I once had a secret
Something I have kept dear,
A secret that I can't tell
Something I might fear
Three words that have been kept
Something that is held very dear,
I can't let it out
I can't say it for you to hear
I can't do this
My heart is aching,
I can't do it
I can't keep it hiding
What would you even do if I told you that?
Would you run or stay?
Nervousness chilled down my spine
I can't help the feeling that you might run away
In front of my friends
Is what I can do,
But in front of you
I will still hold the truth
I kept on wondering how would you feel
If I told you that secret,
Will you be happy or not
Will you think that was a threat
