Words

I love you
But why do I feel like nothing?
Is it because of something I've done?
Or is it because of another something?

I don't know what it is
But it hurts my heart,
I can't stop it
It feels like I'm impaled by darts

I can't speak
It hurts my heart,
All I can do is sing
With my heart content

I can't speak
I can't tell you 'I love you',
Which is why I put my words into song
For you to hear my words of hue

I sang a song for you to hear
A song that it wasn't for  anyone,
Everyone was impressed
But I wish you don't have someone

After that show
I saw you with my best friend,
I heard you said 'you regretted it'
Then my life comes to end

I ran as far away as possible
I hid in my secret place,
Only to find out
You kept up with my pace

I love you very much
I love you, I don't want you to be with someone,
I told you 'I love you'
Your reply was 'thanks, but I already have someone'

I burst into tears
Words do hurt,
Especially from the one you love
Which would hurt your heart
