I love you
You're my best friend,
I told you 'I love you'
And let's be more than friendsYou ignored me for a few months
I can't agree to it,
I wanted your attention
But I didn't get one even just a little bitI didn't understand
Why are you even acting this way?
Is it because I abruptly said it to you
And it makes you go awayAfter a while which it felt like years
You came to me,
You told me right in front of everyone
That you don't feel the same way as meI was amazed
I was dumbfounded,
I burst into tears
I can't agree more to what you saidThe next day
You told me right in front of me,
That it was the greater good
And you felt sorryGreater good?
What good does it even make?
That you just shut people out
For goodness sake? How does it become greater good
When you just hurt the person that cared for you the most?
You didn't even care
What you have lostYou didn't even care
That you lost me for good,
And I think I should leave you
For the greater good------------------------------------------------------------------------------
