Chapter 16 : Assembling the Guardians

Tooth:

There I was doing my duties as the tooth fairy. Gathering the teeth of each and every child, teeth that contains a special memory.

"Eighteen central incisors.

Moscow, Sector 9. 22 incisors and 18 premolars.

Des Moines, we've got cuspid at 23 Maple. Head out!"

I was giving out orders to my fairies when one of them informed me about 'the lights'.

I gasped and along with 3 of my fairies I rushed to the North Pole.

Sandy:

I was spreading golden sand throughout the place to give children good and happy dreams.

Everything was at peace.

Then, I noticed 'the lights' appearing from a distance. I gathered all my strength to form an airplane. I placed on my goggles and was off to North's workshop.

Bunny:

It was about 2 months after Easter and I was still busy. I dedicated my time in painting and decorating eggs for the traditional egg hunt next year.

I was just starting to put the designs on the egg that I was holding when one of my sentinel eggs alarmed me of 'the lights'.

I immediately stood up. I tapped the floor two times and raced through the tunnels. As soon as I got out...

"Oh- it's freezing! I never get used to this weather."

I hopped along towards the workshop.

"I can't feel my feet! I can't feel my feet!"

Jack:

I arrived at the North Pole and immediately looked for North.

"North! Where are you?"

"Globe room, Jack!" He answered peeking out the door.

I made my way to the globe room to find that I was the first one there.

"What happened? Is it..."

"North!" Tooth's voice cut me off. "Is everything okay?" She asked flying towards us.

"Why the hell do you always call us just a few months, or worst, days before or after Easter, mate?" Bunny asked as he arrived. "Can't you see that I'm busy?"

"Hello, kangaroo." I greeted him, arrogantly.

"I am not a kangaroo, mate. I told you that already!" He replied furiously.

I laughed at him, leaning on my staff.

Before North could tell us the news, Sandy arrived. He showed us some symbols that were too fast for me to understand but North somehow got the message.

"I called you here because of something that took place just a while ago." North told us, seriously.

"A while ago? What happened a while ago, mate?" Bunny questioned.

"Pitch was here! And he's up to something bad!"

"Wait. What do you mean 'Pitch was here'? That means he's back??" I asked North.

"Are you sure? But how? What is he planing to do??" Tooth said.

I was about to answer Tooth when Sandy tapped my arms.

"What is it, Sandy?" I asked.

He showed me a picture of a crescent moon and he pointed upwards.
