I opened my eyes to see Blake still sleeping. I got up to use the restroom Blake woke up and put his arm around me.

Good morning", he said in a sleepy voice.

"Morning", I smiled

He scooted closer to me and we just laid there. I was enjoying this moment when we got interrupted by a doctor.

"We need to reposition Renne so we need you to move please" she said to Blake.

"Alright", he said as he gave me a peck on the forehead.

Blake's POV

I walked over to the chair beside Renne's bed and sat down. As the nurses repositioned her I thought to myself.... I feel so bad. This whole thing is my fault. Her dad's going to hate me. As I thought to myself Mark walked in.

"Hey Mark, I'm so sorry for all of this", I said to Renne's dad while standing up.

"Hey don't beat yourself up kid. I know if wasn't your fault", he said trying to make Blake feel better.

"Hey dad", Renne said in a tired voice.

"Hey how are you feeling", he asked?

"I'm hanging in there."

Mark left the room leaving us to talk. Oh no she's going to hate me. Everything is all my fault I feel horrible!  I thought to myself what is she going to say about all this?

"Hey how's your foot", she asked in concern.

"It's feeling better", I told her.

"So I'm really sorry for what happened. It's all my fault", I said as I stood up and walked over to her bed. I sat at her feet and stared at her leg all rapped up in a cast. As we looked into each others eyes I leaned in for a kiss. Renne closed her eyes and pressed her lips to mine.

2 Weeks Later. Renne's POV

I open my eyes to see light coming through my window. I reach for my phone to check the time. It's 11:00am. I stretch my arms and begin to sit up. I push down my blankets and stand up. I walk downstairs with my crutches and see Blake and my dad sitting at the table.

"Hey honey did you sleep okay", dad asked.

"Yeah it was much better then those hospital beds" I answer.

"That's good, do you want anything to eat", he asked while he got up. I looked over at Blake and he was mouthing words that I couldn't understand.

"Yea dad I'm starving", I said while trying to decide what Blake was trying to tell me with a confused look on my face.

"I'm going to go to the store, I'll be back", dad explained.
