Chapter 13 - Did he cheat on me?

I wake up and Blake is watching t.v. I rub my tired eyes and sit up a little bit.

"Morning babe", I say happily because I had a good rest.

"Morning babe", he says paying attention to the show.

"Babe do you want to do something today, like go to the beach", I ask excited, thinking I can ask him about his message from Mindy.

"Yea sounds great", he says.  We get up to get ready.  I put on my fringe bikini and grab a bag.  I put two towels, sunscreen, and sunglasses in the bag. I then grab my sandals and walk downstairs. 

"Let's go", I tell Blake so he will hurry up. 

"Bye dad", I tell Mark while he's cooking himself breakfast.

"Bye guys, have fun", he says.

I rush to the car in a hurry excited to go to the beach to get my mind off everything.  Blake gets in the car  puts the key in the ignition and drives away. About fifteen minutes later we get to beach. We find a spot and lay our stuff down.  First I decide to tan for a while and lay down on my towel.  I relax for a while, while Blake surf's.  A little while later Blake comes back.

"Blake I need to talk to you about something", I say starting to get serious.

"Yea babe what is it", he says worried.

"Did you cheat on me", I blurt out in anger.

"Why would you think that", he asks worried.  My face turns red and my palms start to sweat.

"It was sometime last week when you got up to go to the bathroom I saw your phone light up and I saw that some girl named Mindy texted you and said hey babe I'm in town", I say getting more upset and almost start crying. 

"Why would I cheat on you your having my baby", he asked concerned.

"This was before I even told you I was pregnant", I explained.

"Do you not trust me enough to not go through my messages", he asked angrily.

"Don't make me the bad guy here, DID YOU CHEAT ON ME OR NOT I want to know the truth", I yell. I feel my face get red and I feel my eyes start to water.

"NO I didn't Renne I would never do anything to hurt you", he explained.

"Then who is that girl that texted you", I ask still angry with him.

"She told me that she had the wrong number, do you want to see to make sure I'm not lying", he asked.

"No" I say. I start to cry because my emotions bundle up inside. He hugs me trying to comfort me.

"You know that I wouldn't do anything to hurt you right", he asks.

"Yea Blake I'm so sorry for not trusting you", I say apologizing.

"It's okay babe", he says hugging me tighter.

"Blake I'm so lucky to have you in my life", I tell him smiling.

"Im lucky to have you too baby", he says kissing my head.

We decide to go swim for a while then head home. We pack up our stuff and walk to the car. We drive off and head home.  We decide to get ice cream since it was so hot today.  Then we pulled into the driveway and my phone start ringing.

"Hello", I say in my fake nice voice.

"Hi are you able to come see the obstetrician today at 3:00pm", the lady asks.

"Umm yea I'll try", I say.

"Alright thank to so much we had to change it because another patient need to change her date", she explains.

"Oh okay I'll see you at 3:00pm", I say hanging up my phone.

We get out of the car and hurry inside.  It's already 2:15pm so we have to hurry and change. Once we're done we rush outside and get back in the car.  As we're hurrying to the doctor a truck comes right at us.  There was no way to move before it hits us. We turn in circles and then get knocked off the road.  People rush over to us to help. The next thing I knew Blake and I were in the ambulance.

"I'm so worried about the baby", I say as I feel my eyes start to water.

"Babe it will be okay", he says holding my hand.

We finally get to the hospital.  We're rushed to some rooms in the E.R.

"Is there anything we need to know before we run any tests or anything", the nurse asks.

"Well I'm pregnant", I answer.  Then I see dad walk in right when I say it. Oh crap I thought to myself. Then dad storms out of the room.
