Riley's POV
I don't know how James is going to take this. But I've go to try anyways. This is my last shot before it's too late. I hear footsteps coming closer, and instantly I got that sick feeling in my stomach. I prepare myself and here it goes...
James' POV
I don't know what Riley wants, I'm totally lost why she'd ask me? Since she broke up with me, what does she want with me? More than anyone, she should ask Alfie. I approach Riley, and I find looking anxious. Which questions me even more is Why is she anxious? What had Alfie done to her? What happened between them? All those questions running through my mind, but if really want to find out, I need to hear from Riley. "Hey. So what's wrong? Why did you text me?" I question her. "James, I...you...probably hate me. I completely understand why." "I hope you do." I add coldly. "James, all I wanted to say is...I love you. I know I hurt you, but I truly love you and obviously I can't move on from you, you're my everything!" She answers with tears running down my face. Those words is all I wanted to hear, all this time. "I love you too." After that, there's nothing more to say than a way to show our love. We both lean in, and our lips move on sync. The kiss is short but something unforgettable.
