Chapter 2: is this family really getting bigger?

When I got down I was the last one and I looked at Kristopher who had this big smile on his face and we left.

We arrived at the park and we all got out of the car and ran towards the entrance.

As we reached it, I turned around and saw Teresa and Chloe holding hands to run, those two reminded me and my older brother, whenever we were some place and I was left behind, he would always come back for me hold my hand and walk with me. I turned around and looked Liam who was by my side, he was texting someone and I had no idea who.

When we were inside, before resting on a long chair and I took my dress off and Kristopher told me “cover up your body or you’ll see…” I could see he was angry but thank God neither Kayla nor my dad heard him. They distanced us to go take some towels and I stared into Kristopher’s big blue eyes and continued resting while putting my earphones on. I was listening to “girl next door” by Jessie James and singing the song. When I suddenly left my earphones getting ripped out of my ears and I left like I was in the air; I opened my eyes to see that I was staring at Kristopher’s back, when he had said and you’ll see I didn’t think he was going to be that serious, I mean I know its Kristopher and he is capable of anything but I didn’t think he would.

I could see where he was taking me but I was punching his back and yelling “let me go you jerk! Let me go!!!”  After 3 minutes of yelling he finally said “will you please shut up? I am tired of hearing you scream" “well excuse me… if I wasn’t on your back I wouldn’t have to be screaming.” I said screaming at him. “Are you sure you want me to let you go?” he said what kind of question is that was I not clear when said let me go? “Of course I want you to let me go” and I left my body being I the air in wet in less than 3 seconds.

I can’t believe I was in the water right now, it was freezing cold. I opened my eyes and saw him swimming away which was easy for him since he was a very good swimmer. I tried to swim fast to catch up with him but it was useless. I got out of the pool and I walked looking back at Kristopher who was already at the end of the pool talking to some girls. Well that didn’t chock me, as I said he is a really big charmer. While I turned around to see where I was going I ran into this guy (by accident).

“I am so sorry, are you okay?” he asked

“You’re sorry? I should be the one apologizing I was the one who wasn’t looking and ran into you, well technically I walked into you but …”I said. I think he noticed the fact that I was nervous.

He started laughing and said with a flirty smile “you’re funny…  I’m Lucas… and you are?”

“Hi Lucas, I am Alicia” I said with a not interested smile and I turned around. He was absolutely handsome; he has black hair with caramel eyes. I was smile as I walked away.

I went to my seat where my dad was. I picked up my phone and stared at it thinking about calling Antonio Davis and Ava James. They were my absolute best friends in the whole entire world. They both had brown hair and they both had green eyes just not the same green, Ava’s were a liter green and Antonio’s were darker with a bit of blue added.

My dad looked at me and asked raising his eyebrows “hey baby girl, why aren’t you out there having fun?”, “Because I was having fun until that jerk, Kristopher jumped with me in the pool” I said raising my voice for him to understand I wasn’t happy about it. He laughed and just continued doing what he was doing (whatever that was). I went to the ladies room to look at myself but I heard someone vomit. And I saw Kayla getting out of a bathroom, looking like a mess. “Are you okay?” I asked her as she was putting water on her face and nodded “yes”. I was so scared for her; it was the first time I ever get sick.

After rinsing her face, we went outside and she demanded to go back home, so everyone packed and my dad told me to stay with Kristopher to give back the towels while he went home with Teresa, Chloe, Liam, Ken and Kayla.

I don’t see why he left me out of all of the kids? Why me? He knew how I felt about Kristopher. Any ways we dropped the towels and before leaving Lucas came by my side and gave me a wink. I turned around and he grabbed my arm “did I do something to you? Because I can see that this friendship is not starting well. I acted with you the same way I act with other girls but you don’t seem to be interested, all of the other girls at this point go crazy for my winks and my smile”. He said with a smile.

I pulled back my arm and told him “I just met you and you are already flirting with me, which show me that you do this with all the other girls you see.  And a friendship since when?” with a disgusted face I was about to walk away.

“Only with beautiful girls, babe just like you, and don’t act like you didn’t think I was attractive at first” he was with the same smile.

“Well let me make it clear I don’t like you… and stop giving me that smile it looks awful.” I said turning around and walking up to Kristopher.

He walked fast and I could see that he wasn’t happy.

I slid into the passenger’s seat and he climbed into the driver’s seat. We did the entire road without talking. When we got home, we were called into the living room where everyone was waiting.

“Guys take a seat we have good news… in fact great news” my dad said by the way he said that I could see he was happy and I knew I wasn’t going to like this surprise.

We sat down and Kayla said “I’m having another baby” with an enormous smile on her face.

Everyone was happy well I wasn’t thrilled about it but I’m happy for them. I said congratulations and went to my room. I threw my bag across my room and directly jumped on my bed and took my pink laptop. I typed Antonio’s name and Ava’s and I told them “I’m getting a new baby brother or sister”. Before they could answer I closed my laptop, laid down and fell asleep with bunch of questions running threw my head.

Was this family really getting bigger? Isn’t it big enough?
