Chapter 2

When I arrived at school everyone started clapping. I just gave a scared look and quickley walked over to my locker. My "old" bestfriend ran yp to me and hugged me." RILEY!" she screamed, "That was amazing!" "I don't understand...you mean the video?" I asked. "Yes! OMG the hashtag #getRileyfamous is trending on twitter," she answered in an excited tone. My eyes went wide and my jaw dropped.

   After school me and Hailey (my old bestie who got mixed up with the populars) ran home. I opened up my laptop and there were 2 emails in my inbox. Both of them were from unknown emails. I opened the first one. It read "Hi Riley! My name is Micheal Clifford and me and my friends saw your Youtube video and thought it was amazing! We all sing and play instruments too. Anyways, we were wondering if you could call or facetime us? We want to offer you a "proposal" if you will. My number is ___-___-____" "Interesing," Hailey said raising an eyebrow, "I wonder what the proposal is." I just srugged. Before I opened the other email I went to my Youtube channel and went to my video. "OMG HAILEY!" I screamed, "50,000 VIEWS SINCE LAST NIGHT!" We both just stared at the screen. "You should call that Micheal guy, Riley," Hailey said. So thats just what I did. I picked up my phone and dialed the number. 

  "Hello," and voice said with an Australian accent. "Hi, my name is Riley Shay," I started, "You sent me an email about my Youtube video." "Oh Hello Riley" he said. "BOYS IT IS RILEY SHAY!" he yelled. Me and Hailey giggled. "Ok Riley, you are on speaker phone," he said after a mintue or so. "Hi," I said. "Hello Riley," they all said in uniston. "So what was the proposal you wanted to talk about?" I asked, " And how old are you?" They replied," Three of us are 17 and one is 19, and you are about the same right?" "Yea, I am 17," I answered, "Now the proposal." "Oh yes," Micheal said. "Would you like to join our band?"
