Chapter 5

When we arrived at the radio station the woman directed us to the radio room. "Your a bit late you know," she said with no expressions at all. "We know we got caught up in our music." Calum said smiling and glancing at me. I just smiled and nodded my head. I was so nervous! I had never done anything like this before. So many things were running through my head. What if they think I am wierd? What if I answer all the questions wrong? What if the fans don't like me? I guess Micheal could tell I was nervous. He put his arm around me and said "Hey, don't worry! You wil do great and everyone will love you." "I hope so!" I said laughing.

 The boys were about to go out and speak. Luke gave me a reasuring nod and walked out with the boys.

"Hey Everyone, it's Ryan and I have a few special guests today on the show!" The radio guy said into the mic, "Please help me welcome...5SOS!" The girls outside the glass windows screamed and a few cryed. I did not realize how popular they were. They waved and said hello into the microphone. "So boys I understand you have a special announcement for us today," Ryan said looking at the boys with a questioning look. "Yes, yes we do Ryan. I hope everyone gets excited because we were." Ashton said smiling. Ryan smilied and said "I am super excited and I bet everyone else is so... TELL US!" Micheal spoke up and said "Well I bet many of you have heard of the amazing singer from Youtube, Riley Shay" Then Calum said "Well we would like to bring her out and tell everyone for us," The boys waved me out. I walked out and some girls gave me death glares and others waved at me. I just smiled and sat down. "Hello everyone, Ryan," I smiled. "Hello Riley, so what is the news!" Ryan said in an engouraging tone. I looked at Micheal and he gave me a thumbs up. I giggled and said " I'm joining the band!" "WOW Congrats!" Ryan said, "That must be huge for you!" I laughed, " You bet! I never though I was that good!" Ryan put his hand to his headphone, nodded, and shot me a smile. "So, are you dating Micheal?" he asked. Micheal and I both widened our eyes. The rest of the boys just laughed. "What? No!" I said. Then Micheal added, "What makes you say that?" Ryan smiled, "Well, I heard he contacted you and you guys were smiling at each other" "Well he did but I smile at all of them!" I said. Now I was annoyed! Ryan through up his hands "Sorry, just a theory" 

Then we moved on talking about music and some other stuff. Then he thanked us and we left. We hopped in the bus and went back to the boys house. The bus ride was pretty quiet. Turned around and smiled at me, "Hey Riles." I smiled and replyed, "Hey Dude," He played with a loose string on the seat and said "Look about today, I don't want you to think about me differently or anything." He looked at me with hopefully. "Don't worry Mike, I don't," I started, " It was just a bit embarrasing because you are like my brother, you know?" He smiled, "Definatly same here, but you are like my sister." I giggled and nodded. he turned back around and Luke smiled at me. "Hey Blondie" I laughed playfully punching his arm. He rolled his eyes and started tickiling me. "Luke stop!" I said grabbing his hands looking him in the eyes. He smiled and put his headphones in.

When we got back Hailey was there waiting. "Hey guys," she said looking at Ashton. He saw her and smiled. "Hey Hail," he replyed not looking away. Calum winked at me and I started laughing. "What's so funny Riles?" Ashton said placing his hands on his hips. Hailey giggled and I just rolled my eyes. "Come on Hailey, I'm tyred and need SLEEP!" I said grabbing her arm. As we walked out I heard Luke say "Ash you are to obvious! ASK HAILEY OUT!" "SSSHHH! LUKE!" Ashton said trying to wisper.

On the ride home Me and Hailey were pretty quiet. "So," I said, "You like Ash." She blushed, "What! Not true!" "Oh Please Hail! It is so obvious!" I laughed. She just smiled and shook her head.
