'CRASH!' There was something down stairs I'd thought. The moon was full tonight so I could see everything outside. I climbed out of my bed and checked on the others. It didn't seem to disturb them a bit. So I went past them and opened the door to go outside. Then climbed down the ladder, and jumped down midway. I landed silently, and looked around frantically.

I searched the area, and found that something had taken one of the rabbits I'd caught earlier. So I looked around for tracks and found some that lead through the pine trees. I grabbed my bow and set off to find this thief.

The tracks lead to lake Sam Rayburn and off down its mush coast. Once the lake ended, it ran off into some oak trees and stopped. I could no longer find it. The trail, it just... ended. "Zeennahh" I heard someone say in a loud but whispered voice. And whatever, whoever, said it again. And I ran in what felt like circles, over and over again.

After about five minutes I got tired of it and stopped dead center. I drew back my bow and carefully, and slowly spinned around looking for something to protect myself from. When I suddenly saw a white light in the distance.

I slowly walked toward it, to the point that I could see that the strange light was in the middle of the large beautiful blooming meadow. It was just a small white light. But after all looks can be deceiving. Suddenly a giant burst of light flew at me and when I opened my eyes it wasn't just a light, but a wolf in white flames. I put down my bow and kneeled bowing my head. And a few seconds later lifted my head. And we sat there quietly, for a very long time. After a while,

I heard that voice again, instead this time more clearly. "Zena." It said, "Whom is this Zena you speak of?" I asked what or who ever it was.

Suddenly, I saw a bright light. It was a light blue. But faintly I could see a wolf glancing back at me, but it seamed to be standing up. Like a werewolf. I gasped.

"Hmhmhmhm." It laughed at me, "You my nina, are Zena. A princess of the wolf, a wolf queen of the forest. You may call me White, or White Wolf. Now, if you shall call upon my name, if you need saving you will be saved, and if you need guidance you may have my guidance. You may have apart of my spirit, whose name is Holley. I will have my guardians watch over you. But I will warn you, do not take advantage of this power unless it is necessary, and if you believe it is, come unto me about it. Don't reject this side of you, you must embrace it, or suffer for an eternity. You will now begin to grow even slower, and eventually stop at the age you wish. And will not die until I am ready to send you home. Be careful mi nina. Adios mi gustable." She ended, then gazed into my eyes and howled. As I looked up it was almost like a ghost, possessed my body, but I had total control. I felt the brightest glow in my eyes, soul and heart. And that was my very first change.
