Chapter Two (New love interest?)

After what I found out that day, I seriously had to tell Cat. So the next blistering Saturday at rowing, l pulled Cat aside and told her what I found out. She just bursted out laughing and then she said,"Lee, are you stupid? How do you not know you friend requested someone?" I just stumbled over my words, I seriously could not reply what so ever. I too was utterly shocked beyond words.

Rowing today was so much more difficult then usual. I was getting shouted at way more then usual and trust me I always get shouted at. It was a whole different dynamic this time and I could not understand why? Was it that I was suffering from embarrassment syndrome or was I just tired as usual? I could not understand?

The whole time at rowing, this thing of not telling Ed was causing me problems. I just couldn't put on my big girl panties on and summon enough courage to tell him. It was way to embarrassing, after sometime motivating myself in the bathroom, I summoned enough courage to go and talk to him. It was so weird, he was with his friends and my so called friends were cheering me on from a distance. What friends they truly are. I almost got to Ed but then I saw his mother and like what all girls should do. I did a u-turn and walked quickly back to where my friends were.

It was almost the end of the day and I really wanted to talk to him. I just couldn't find the time. Just when I was about to give up, Cat came out of the snack shop that was  in the rowing building with Ed. You know just when I wanted to runaway or just go hide they were approaching me.

They were really approaching me really quickly, I just had to put on a brave face on and smile. In my most polite voice I said, "Hi Ed, what are you and Cat laughing and smiling about?" Tht came out rather mean if you ask me. "Wow Lee, hold your hormones. We just meet at the snack shop."said Cat. I was so angry at her for saying that in front of Ed. She made it look like I was some crazy ex-girlfriend.

It so apparently happened that when Cat was buying food from the snack shop, she did not have enough money to pay. Ed happened to be there so instead he paid for her. Then they became friends.

Oh wow, he bearly says anything to me but decides to go buy her food, how nice. To think I sent him a friend request on Facebook. I really wish I could take that back. We then chatted to Ed and his friends for a while. Cat ended up embarrassing herself by saying she did a 2km ergo test in two minutes, when the boys asked us. The boys could not believe it, but thanks to me I changed the subject. She honestly looked relieved. This really showed how clueless she was. Poor child, serves her right for being all goody goody with Ed.

Oh my goodness, what did I just think? What am I thinking, am I jealous of her? Do not tell me I have crush on Ed! No Lee get yourself together. You do not like Ed.
