Chapter Twenty five (Just rowing)

                        (Cat's POV)

It was a sunny Wednesday. It was a perfect day to go rowing but for some reason all i could think about was Ed and Lee. I was so anxious about it all. I could not stop wondering what would happen if Ed told Lee. Would she stop talking to me? All of this was too much.

When we got to rowing i saw Ed. He was pulling out a boat. You could see the sweat dripping down his tanned face. How big his muscles seemed when he was pulling the boat. I did not notice that i had been staring at him for sometime. "Cat stop staring at Ed! We need to get our boats out too you know." Said Lee with her hand pointed at the other boats. "I am not staring at Ed. I am looking at which boat he is using." I said, trying to come up with an excuse. Ed seemed to  have heard us because he  lifted up his head and looked straight at me. So i quickly looked away.

He was a cute guy but he was not my type. So i just walked past him so i could get a boat. He tried to offer his help but i turned him down.

                      (Lee's POV)

It was time to start rowing. I had never felt this ready for it. I mean i wasn't going to row. I  still had an injury but it was worth coming  so i could drive Dan crazy. As Cat was putting her boat down into the water Dan was making his way over to us.

"Well, well what are you doing here Lee?" He said with an annoyed look on his face. "I came to watch my friends row. Even if i have an injury can i not support them? Think of this as my dedication to rowing." I said with a witty grin. "Oh really now Lee are you sure you didn't coming for another reason?" "Nope i am sure Dan and plus now you have someone to talk to." I said putting my hands behind my back. "No thanks Lee, i do not want to talk to you." And with that he was about to walk away. So i placed my foot in the way of his feet. Then he tripped over it and fell into the dirty river. "Dan, you looked a bit dehydrated so i thought you needed some water. No need to thank me." With that i walked away feeling like i accomplished something.

                      (Cat's POV)

I had been rowing for a while. Just feeling the water as my blades glided on the water as i took a stroke. I could feel the aching of my legs as they cried out in pain but for some reason i kept on rowing.

I really enjoyed being on the river the peace and qui... "What are you doing! You should be practicing fast strokes not being lazy!" Shouted Dan as he came up to me on his little motorboat.
"Aaaahhhhh! Don't do that Dan you gave me such a freight!" "Well it is not my fault your friend is getting on my nerves. So obviously i am now in a bad mood." He said while looking grumpy.

"Dan i don't understand why it is my problem. Why don't you just start being nice to Lee and maybe she will do the same?" Before he could say anything i just rowed away back to the bay. As i got off the boat my bum muscles started to cramp. So i bent down and started shaking my bum so i could stop the cramping. It felt good to do that until i heard a giggle from behind me. So i stopped and turned around. I saw that a boy had been standing right behind me the whole time i was shaking my bum. So in other words i was shaking my bums in his face. This was so embarrassing.  So i quickly walked away while he was giggling.

There was no comingback from that what so ever. Nothing can get worse than that.

Just when i said that in the distance i saw Ed walking over to Lee. He looked anxious and a bit fearful. I wonder what he is going to do.

Oh no is he going to tell Lee now? No way, why now ? I am not ready for this. So i just shouted to Ed, "No Ed don't do it!" For some reason it seems like he did not hear me or is it that he didn't want to hear me?

                      (Lee's POV)

As i sat in the shade, i noticed Ed coming my way.  He seemed anxious and scared. It seemed like he had something important to tell me. "Lee i need to tell you something. Whatever i say don't freak out." He said while playing with his hair. "Okay Ed tell me." As i said that i could hear Cat shouting to Ed not to do it. So this made me feel more intrigued to hear what he had to say.

So Ed looked into my eyes and said, "Lee i..."
