Chapter three (Preparing for the disco)

The last Saturday was hectic, so I decided to clear my mind and start a fresh. It was finally the Wednesday after the Saturday morning of rowing. We had been told that the school was having a Valentine's dance and that Hayden would be our DJ. I was so happy my heart instead of it skipping one beat it skipped ten beats. I felt like just dying right now. Lee snap out of it, if you die who will marry Hayden?

Wait, if the boys from Seldin boys school come then that means Ed is coming. "Lee look at you? You're blushing." "Ahhhh! Cat what do you want? You scaried me and no I am not blushing." "Well Lee I have a surprise for you, Hayden wants to speak to you in his lab."(Hayden is a hot teacher at my school, he really is hot.) "Really now?" "Yes Lee, just go." So I was on my way to Hayden, I really wondered what he wanted. It had been a while since I saw him last. As I entered his lab it was like the mood just changed. He was looking at Cat and she was looking at him. They looked like enemies ready to fight each other. They gave each other  a deadly stare which seemed to last for a life time. This stopped when Mrs Ox broke the silence between them.

I walked up to Hayden and stood in front of him. My heart was beating faster than the Flash running. It looked like he was about to declare his love for me and then he final spoke,"Lee, when I are you going to complete your empiring test? You have not written it or even attempted. Come on if you want to become a full fledged empire, you need to do the test." Cat just witnessed my  heart sink.
               (Cat's POV)
It was so funny because her facial expressions dropped. Her expectations were too high for Hayden to meet. After all he was a teacher not her boyfriend. I felt sorry for her. She really looked like she was going to cry.

After he spoke and spoke Lee and I left. Then we went are separate ways.
                                  (Lee's POV)
It was the Friday of the dance, I felt so upset. How could Hayden do that to me. You know I really feel that sometimes this relationship between us is not working. We are way too different. Anywho I need to suck it up and get on with my life. I don't need him, he needs me. Oh well I still need to get ready for the dance.

It took a while to get there, but I finally made it to the dance. As I entered the hall, I saw everyone dancing and having fun. I have to say Hayden is not a bad DJ. We all just danced the night away until Hayden had to start repeating the songs again and again. Gosh he just became so annoying. Just when I was about to go to the snack shop I saw Ed walking around.

Cat and I started making jokes saying that he looked like a lost soul looking for a body to snatch. For some reason i find it a bit cute. He looked so awkward around everyone . He is so cute in a weird way. Not again Lee. Do not think about Ed. No, no, why is this happening to me? Lee, I think you have been charmed by Ed's weirdo charms. OH NO!!!!!!!
