Chapter Twenty-eight

                          (Cat's  POV)
This is so awkward. Ed decides to tell Lee now. Is he an idiot? Why now?

Lee is so quiet. Her facial expression has not changed. What is she thinking about? I slowly turn my head to Liya. She does the same to me. We both gave each other a knowing look and slowly walked towards Lee. Making sure we were far away from her hands.

            (Four hours before)

"Liya and Cat have you noticed how weird Ed has been acting?" Lee said looking confused. "It is like something is wrong." "Oh Lee it is probably nothing. Teenage boys are always weird. It is in their nature." said Liya with an irritated look. "What's your problem? I can see you rolling your eyes Liya." said Lee with her hand point at Liya. "Lee what the hell. You talk about Ed all the time. Just tell him you like him. Stop dragging Cat and I in all this. We are so tired. Right Cat." said Liya.

"Um what? Why are you people bringing me into the argument. Lee just tell Ed you like him. If he does not like so what. Liya you need to learn ro say things more nicely."

After that we ended the call and i went to get ready for rowing.

                      (Liya's POV)
I am so shocked. What the heck did he just say? I look to Cat and we both just nodded our heads and moved towards Lee.

To think i was just about to tell them both about Dan. I really wanted to just row today without any problems. Now this is just awkward. He made a terrible mistake by telling Lee. Then again she is not that emotional. So the impact will not be that bad. Hopefully.

                      ( Lee's POV)

"What did you say?" I said rising my  eye brows. I think i am suppose to be shocked but for some reason i too hungry to care. All i can see when i look at him is a roasted chicken. All i want to do is just eat him but i know my mind is playing games with me.

Ed walked away very quickly. I would if i were him cause Liya looked like she was going to beat him up.

"Lee, i can't believe what he just said. Is he crazy?" said Liya. "Oh well who cares lets go eat. Oh and row." I said.

So i just got a boat and went to row. I was so tired and hungry but all i felt like doing was rowing. I needed silence.

The river was so calm and flat. So i picked up the ores and began to row.
I felt so good. The water looked rather clean today. Which was really surprising. Early on i saw people testing the water with their science stuff. It looked like a minnie project. Oh well.

Now thinking about what just happend. Ed really does not like me i wonder why? I feel like Cat may know something. She has been acting rather weird lately. I might as well enjoy the river right now.

"Lee why are you rowing so slow?! My word what the hell!" screamed Dan. "Aaaaaahhhhhh!" I screamed. I was so surprised i fell into the river.  When i surfaced i saw Dan on a motor boat. "Lee get back on the bay and bring the boat to. "

"Um Dan, help?" " You will be fine Lee. You don't need my help." said Dan with a smirk. So i tell you, it took me about thirty minutes to get out of the water.

Dan gathered us all so he could tell us who made the team. Obviously we all know who made the team. What a joke. That bastard.

"Ladies we are going to have a Tip test next week Saturday," said Dan. "What the heck is that? I hope it has nothing to do with more exercise. Some of us don't do well with exercise," said Nix glaring at me.

She was still mad just because i pushed her off the boat. How stupid of her. "Oh Nix thanks for worrying, but you should worry that you don't accidentally fall off another boat again." I said smiling at her. "Girls a tip test is to see if you can get back on a boat in the river. If you fall off one in a race. It is very important." said Dan. 

Another thing to worry about.

When i got home i went straight to my room. I needed some time to think. To think about the events of today. I had decided it was time. After much consideration. I needed to know.

Could you blame me? If it were anyone else they would also like to know. I dug in my bag for my phone. As i dialed the number and placed the phone on my ear. I wondered if this was the right thing to do? But it was already to late. "Hello who is this?" said the person on the other end. There was silence before i answered. I could hear the other person breathing . The person seemed anxious.  Like they had been dreading the call. They knew i would call.

I wanted to end the call but i needed to know. "Hi Ed, it's me."
