Chapter Sixteen (Valentine)

(Lee's POV)

I was finding It difficult, to decide if I was really going to get Ed something. My friends say that I should, except Cat. But for some reason I was falling into what Cat said. Maybe I was falling into the Valentine's trap, that everyone falls into. In this trap it is a fifty percent chance I will end up happy and a fifty percent chance I won't. I have been speaking to Ed. We have been emailing each other. Yeah, Ed doesn't have a phone, his mom thinks he will get distracted by girls if he has a phone. So he just emails me on his laptop.

(Cat POV)

I really hate Valentine's day. Every year the same girls hope they are going to get something and every year the same girls don't get anything. I hate it, I hate it. Just when I thought I would go sleep, then I hear. "Cat! Where are you?" Oh no my brother is home. The door to my room bursts open and in walks my stupid brother. "What do you want Paul? And how many times do I tell you to knock?" "Cat, my favorite sister, how are you? I bought you a gift. Have it." That was odd, my brother is trying to be nice to me. "Paul stop the act. Being nice is so overrated." "Well sis, I was hoping that you would date Jamie's brother just for Valentine's day. So she can go out with me . She said she would go out with me if you go out with her brother." "Are you crazy? You little twirp. Jamie's brother is like forty years old and I am still a teenager. He is old enough to be my father." "I know but Jamie says he has never kissed or gone out with a girl before and she feels sorry for him." "Well, not my problem. Who do you think I am?" "Now I know you as the worst sister in the world!" Paul than ran out my room crying. He is such a baby. Did he honestly think, I would do that?
(Lee's POV)

Ed and I were talking more to each other on Facebook and on emails. It felt good, but I was afraid when we met each other how would it feel talking to him face to face. I finally decided to get him a card on Valentine's day.

(Liya's POV)

"Lee that is awesome, you go girl." "Thanks Liya, but I'm scared that he might not get me something or think I'm weird." "Don't worry, I am sure he is going to get you something. Anyway did you hear, Cat said we should buy Dan a new pair of pants that actually fit him." "Did she really Liya? Oh my word, he would get so mad." "I know right." From the distance I could hear..."Liya get off the landline!!" " Sorry Lee I have to go my mom wants me to get off the landline. Talk to you soon?" "Okay bye Liya" I put done the landline phone. Cat and I had been talking for 30 minutes. It was so nice to feel that someone knew what I was feeling about the gift thing. I am also really hoping my crush gets me something too or at least he must not think I am weird.
