Just another rowing story (Completed)

Chapter five ( The end and the beginning)

Our school decided to host a Mother's and daughter's tea. It was the last function we would ever have with this school. The tea just had to be after rowing. It was such a drag. I just had to put some clothes on and go.

Four hours earlier on at rowing. It was hot day and we had to go run a 5KM. "Can these people have a heart? Can they not see how hot and tired we all ?",said Liya. "These are the wrong people to hope that they have a heart. We really need to hurry, we are literally at the back.",said Cat. "Well, I'm sorry not all of us can run fast or even like it for that matter. All I really want now is something to eat. I am so not up for this.",said Lee. Cat just turned around to see what was trailing behind them. She then turned around and smirked then she said, "Lee, look who is behind us? I am sure it should motivate you to pick up the pace." "Cat, there is nothing that can do that." Then out of no where someone spoke,"Hi Lee I see you are joining the run today." "When I heard that voice, knew what Cat meant. And so I slowly turned around and said,"Hi Ed, I so didn't see there. What are you doing here?" "For starters Lee, I am running as well. The boys were all told to go run so we could keep the girls company." I just began to blush, I couldn't​ stop myself.

"Hi Ed Cat and I are also here. I am guessing you are too love struck to notice us." Cat just bursted out into laughter, she knew how mad I was when Liya said that. "Liya and I will just leave you love birds alone. See you later and Lee, you really aren't pretty when you are mad when we state the truth." That really got me. I seriously wanted to beat them both. I was so embarrassed and was sure Ed was too. I just took a deep breath and before I could say anything Ed spoke. "So Lee, how have you been? We really have not spoken to each other lately." "Ed, I'm actually doing good. After rowing I have to go and get dressed for Mother's and daughter's tea at school. I don't have an outfit to wear and that's all. How about you?" "Well, I'm fine, school is fine and rowing is fine. Lee I am sure what ever you wear will look beautiful in you." " Oh, thanks Ed." I began to blush even more he was so cute and kind,but our time was about to end because then we heard this. "Girls you run slower than my own tortoise! Hurry up or all of you will run an extra 10KM run!" Dan had to say that. We all started sprinting back. In my case I left Ed without saying bye.

I was so sore from running so much at rowing. We ended up running that extra 10km. Dan was so unfair, he so knew we had this function after rowing but he still made us work like dogs. When I got there, my table was the only table with people wearing casual clothes. The other girls, my word really dressed to impress. Wow there were the shortest outfits you would ever see,boobs were showing, the whole works. I would think if your own mom was their surely you would keep the boobs in and the outfits parent worthy. Even though their own mom's were there nothing was kept to the imagination. It was just brought out my own mother almost had a heart attack looking at the outfits. It was an enjoyable tea with pictures and videos of us during our primary career.

When we final got that over and done with, we still had the rowing cam ahead. When the camp started I had such high hopes but now... We did the same thing everyday . We got shouted at by Dan everyday and his shorts got tighter everyday. It was so much work but I had to endure it. It was for me but also to be able to see Ed. This camp strengthened our relationship as friends. We now spoke to each other on Facebook and rowing. I really do like Ed and hopefully with some luck he will like me back.
