I loved both of these characters on their respective shows separately, so when they both joined the waverider i was very happy. I mean come on, there chemistry on screen wasn't intentional, it just happened and it was perfect. The only reason they are not further down on my list was the fact that they only kissed once before he died. He is back as a villain and I hope that they can salvage this quintessential ship in the future.(see what I did there 😉)

Season 1 Derena was my baes, they were adorable, sweet and innocent. Then after that it all went to shit. He dated every girl on this show bar his sister, even though Serena was for a while, don't ask. She always went back to Dan time after time and seeing Serena's reaction to Dair broke my heart. I loved how they salvaged this ship in the latter half of season 6, bringing them back to the power couple they were meant to be.

Even though this ship infuriates me to no ends in the show so far, you can't deny destiny. These two characters compliment each other so well. This was an issue when after that had kissed before they found out they were siblings, the ultimate #AWKWARD moment. However both parties still harboured feelings for the other, no matter how wrong they were. Thank the angel my prayers were answered, Jace discovered in fact he is not Clary's brother at all, Valentine lied. But unfortunately he was too late as she is with Simon now so he held back, we are yet to know what happened next.....
