TVD is full of ups and and allot of downs. Thought I would share some of the tear jerkers and would love for you to share yours!

4)Bonnies near suicide 6x13

We all know that Bonnie always puts every person before herself. At this point it was sending Damon back to Elena, leaving Bonnie trapped in the 1994 prison world. She was alone for months on end, going weeks without speaking to anyone. It was driving her insane. She was depressed. Elena, Damon and Jeremy eventually found a way over but Bonnie had already started the car. She was sat there, making a video tape for whoever found her. 'Its the loneliness I can't take it' my heart shattered into a million pieces, he voice broke down as she said it. You could really empathise with her in this moment. She does find her strength and with the help of Jeremy opens the garage door, saving her life.

3)Elena flips the switch 4x15

Elena's heart could only take so much pain and death. So when Jeremy died she snapped. She rushed down the stairs and gets his body on the couch.
Ignoring the pleas from her friends she spreads flammable liquid all over his body and the room. She lights a match but Damon catches it as she collapses to the floor sobbing 'It hurts, make it stop'. Damon consoles her as she weeps, he tells her to turn it off.
She lights her house on fire later for two reasons, one being a cover story for Jeremy's death and another being the fact that the house is filled with memories and it's too painful for her.
Nina's acting in this scene is phenomenal, award worthy definitely.

2)Sheriff Forbes funeral 6x15

Caroline song was so sweet, so beautiful and perfectly summed up the scene. However when the officers made the radio call 'last call for Sheriff Forbes' I cracked. I was sobbing like a little baby, the Damon's speech telling Caroline that her mother thought she was extraordinary.... 😭😭😭😭😭

1) Elena Drowns 3x22
This was a very traumatic for Elena. Mirroring the way her parents die, Elena and Matt crash off of wickery bridge. Matt is unconscious beside her and she cannot escape. We see Stefan arrive to help on both occasions, alike Elena's father making sure Elena was saved before themselves, Elena insists Stefan saves Matt. Knowing it was the only option he does take Matt to safety. However it is too late for Elena, she drowns, just like her parents several years before. As Damon arrives at the hospital, Meredith tells him that she gave her vampire blood earlier that day. Elena awakens as a vampire.

This music plays during Elena's death, it is so haunting.
