Hi humans! Yes, I know this is much much much much shorter than my other chapters and nothing really happens and it's crappy, but I really  didn't have any time today (I'll try to update two chapters tomorrow) Bye!

"You ready to fly?"

"Gabe, we're going on a boat."

Cas and Gabe stood on the docks, staring at the ship that would eventually take them to some obscure island in the Pacific. "There's a reason I wanted to fly." Gabe groaned, hoisting his duffel bag over his shoulder. He was already looking green, and they hadn't even boarded yet.

"Come on, Gabe. It isn't that bad." Dean appeared from behind them, ruffling Cas' hair a little. This action alone sent chills up Cas' spine. It was even worse that Dean had taken off his uniform jacket because of the heat, leaving him in the simple white undershirt. For some reason, it was torture,

Cas shook himself. This was not the time. 'Remember what you promised,' he scolded himself.

A mild grin touched his lips, the best Cas could muster through all the pesky feelings he had. "Yeah, Gabe. I'm sure they'll let you stay on deck the entire trip. Wouldn't want to waste all their buckets." Cas was joking, but his voice was deadpan. Apparently it was still funny to Dean, because he laughed and hit Cas lightly upside the head. It was a ritual that Dean had, Cas noticed. The strange thing was, he didn't do it to anyone else but Cas.

"Let's GO! Move along!" Someone shouted at them, and Cas picked up his duffel.

"Once more unto the breach." Dean mumbled, throwing his arm over Cas' shoulder. It was clearly in a brotherly way, but Cas couldn't keep himself from smiling.

They boarded, their boots clomping on the deck and down several flights of stairs until they arrived in the sleeping area. The smell of sweat hit Cas like a tidal wave, but he was used to it by now. "Now this is the lap of luxury." Gabe said, flopping down on one of the bunks. They were basically pieces of canvas, stretched out in a metal frame.

"Agreed." Dean claimed the bunk three rows from the floor. He gestured towards the empty bunk directly next to him. "There's yours, Cas. Now are you just gonna stand there or what?" Cas was immediately snapped out of his daze and threw his bag down on the bunk, treating it as a pillow.

"Comfortable."

Dean smiled a little before rolling over to stare at the bunk above his. Cas thought for a second before pulling out a stack of cards. "Um, Dean?"

"Hm?" He looked at Cas, making eye contact. Cas froze for a second. He'd forgotten how... flawless, how Dean's eyes were. He could stay there, staring into Dean's eyes forever.

Suddenly remembering why he'd said anything in the first place, he held up his cards. "How about a game?"

Dean smiled one of his warm smiles, and Cas returned it. "Hey, why not?"

Cas looked into Dean's eyes again, his heart beating faster. Then he realized it, a slow, strange realization. Cas didn't just like Dean, something that was already a disgrace in society. No, he didn't just like Dean.

Cas was in love with him.

Forgive me
