Gou walked me to the nurse, all the while Makoto's jacket was still on me. I felt sort of bad that Gou said those things, but Gou assured me that they were friends and he wouldn't take it personally. When we walked into the infirmary, the nurse gasped and asked me what had happened, and I explained in little detail. She gave me a new shirt and put the dirty one in a bag with some stain stuff.
"Now when you get home make sure you wash it thoroughly and dispose of the bag." The nurse said handing me the tied up bag.
"Thank you," I said. Gou and I walked out of the nurse's office.
"I'm totally going to beat up Makoto for you don't worry!" She said laughing maniacally.
"It wasn't really his fault. I wasn't looking where I was going." I said quickly, leaving out the fact that I was trying to avoid her.
"That's no excuse! He embarrassed you on your first day! And he obviously wasn't watching where he was going either, or he wouldn't have bumped into you!"
I thought about this for a moment. Her reasoning was actually true. I grasped the soft black jacket around me. "Still, that green eyed boy seems nice. He did give me his jacket after all, which saved me from the embarrassment of walking through the hall." I still couldn't remember his name completely.
"That 'green eyed boy' stained your uniform and got sauces in your hair. I won't go easy!"
I could tell she wasn't giving this up, so I laughed and went with it. Gou walked me to my class (I'm still confused in this big school) and helped explain to the teacher why I was late, a bit too descriptive I might add.
"Um, what should I do with this jacket?" I asked her before she walked off.
"Uh, keep it? Maybe you'll see him later."
"But, you know him, you'll see him later won't you?" I said, feeling odd wearing a boy's coat.
"Oh yeah, I will! Come to the roof after school. Bye!" Before I could say anything, Gou ran off.
I guess I'm going to the roof after school then. I sighed. I honestly just wanted today to be over. Before I went into class, I took off the boy's jacket and carried it over my arm. That's what boyfriend and girlfriend do, and I didn't even know the kid's name.
I ended up not seeing the boy with the green eyes for the rest of the day, so I had to carry his jacket around. Some people asked if it was from my boyfriend and I had to keep answering, "No, I don't know the owner." Then quickly walking away to prevent any more interrogation from people I'd never seen before. They honestly didn't seem to care who I was, but just wanted some kind of drama I guess. Finally, it was the end of the day. The final bell rang and people filed out of classes and to their clubs or onto buses. As told, I resentfully found my way to the school's roof. I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. When I made it to the door, I opened it out of breath, and walked out to see a sparkling crystal blue pool.
"Woah," I said thinking out loud. I walked to the edge of the pool and bent down to feel the water. It was cool and refreshing.
"Are you here to join our club!!?" A highs pitched voice yelled excitedly behind me. I jumped, almost falling in the pool.
"Oh God, you almost gave me a heart attack." I said tilting placing a hand over my chest. In front of me stood a rather short boy with blond hair and red eyes. His smile was bright, and he was...Not wearing a shirt? "U-um, I think I'm in the wrong place actually." Despite his size, he was really muscular.
"Oh no! Please join our club!" He crouched on his knees and begged.
"Um, I was just looking for a friend! I'm sorry!" I tried to escape but a familiar figure walked in front of me.
"Hey, it's you again." The kid from my class, Ryugazaki Rei stood in front of me, also missing a shirt.
"W-what? Excuse me," I said ignoring this situation.
"Wait a minute!" The blond boy yelled after me. "You look familiar!"
"This is the girl you quite rudely ran into this morning Nagisa." Ryugazaki said.
The blond boy gasped, ran up to me, and bowed. "I'm so sorry! I was in a big rush this morning. You see, I was getting dressed, and then noticed that my-"
"I-its okay, really!" But I was just looking for one of my friends, she told me to meet her up here after school.
"That's odd." Ryugazaki said. "We have our swim club up here. Hence the pool and swimsuits."
"Ah, that makes sense now." I mumbled, finally understanding why neither of them had shirts on. Although, I still felt extremely awkward.
"Hey! It's you!"
I turned to see the green eyed boy who had spilled his lunch all over me. He also was missing his shirt, but his body was more fit than the other two boys behind me. He had on a green and black swimsuit that reached his angles, and goggles hung around his neck. "Oh, h-hi," I stuttered.
"Hi," he smiled, now standing in front of me. I struggled to keep maintain eye contact. "What're you doing here? Coming to join the swim club I hope?"
"Uh- Oh! No actually, but I have your j-jacket that you gave me." I got held out the black blazer that I'd carried around the whole day.
"Oh thanks," He said, taking the blazer. "I never formally introduced myself. I'm Tachibana Makoto."
"I'm (l/n) (f/n)." I shook his hand with a gentle smile.
"Again, I'm really sorry about your uniform. Is there anything I could do to make it up to you?" He asked.
"No, it's fine. No harm done."
"Makotooo! Is this your girlfriend?" The blond one asked.
"No, Nagisa. He threw his lunch food on her today." A boy with dark blue hair said from behind Tachibana, I hadn't noticed him before.
"What? Are you okay?" The blond boy ran up to me again, I wondered if he was always this energetic. "I'm Hazuki Nagisa, and that's Nanase Haruka. Its nice to meet you (l/n)-san!" He smiled happily.
"You too. But I better get going, my friend might be looking for me somewhere else-"
"(f/n)!" The female voice behind me yelled. "I'm so sorry, I had to settle something with my teacher. I hope the boys didn't bother you."
I looked around at the muscle party that surrounded me. "No, not too much, Gou-san."
"Oh, good. Ah, you got to give Makoto his jacket back, that's good."
"Eh, yea, but you could've given to him yourself, couldn't you?" I said. We were closer now, and the four boys were stretching near the pool.
"Well, yea. But I think you guys should get to know each other, along with the rest of the team." She smiled. "It would be amazing if I could have another girl around to fawn over those muscles with." She was almost drooling now.
"Y-yea, maybe. But I should really get out of you guys' way." I began to step away but Gou pulled me back.
"Why don't you just stay today?"
"I have lots of work to catch up on."
"I'll help you! I am in all the top classes after all."
I though for a moment. She could be the key to catching up with the loads of work I had. "Okay, but just because I need help."
Gou jumped up, and pulled me over near the pool. Today, just kept getting more chaotic.
