"Why Chorong?" Moonbin appeared out of nowhere. "Where were you?" she asked "Honestly, I don't know either. First, I was in a room with a bunch of things melting it looked weird so I tried to get out then I went into another room. That room had so many creepy dolls so I had to leave that too then I entered another room and it was all dark, it looked like a basement that had a rocking chair. There was a doll sitting on it then the chair started rocking, then the doll faced me" Moonbin's face looked so terrified as he spoke. "It's a good thing you called me because I was able to follow your voice and exit the room" he smiled.
"O~~~kay?" Chorong just went along with what he said knowing that they're in a world of fairy tales that doesn't make much sense either.
"CHORONG!" yelled a male voice from another room. Chorong followed the voice and found Jungkook looking at his pocket watch again. "What's so important that you had to yell my name from another room?" Chorong asked. Jungkook's face looked so worried. "The ball is today, I can't believe I got my schedule wrong but it's okay, it's still later at 9 anyway and your story for Sleeping Beauty is tomorrow so nothing to worry about" Jungkook sighed in relief and sat on the floor.
"I get that your character is a really time conscious person but you need to relax once in a while" Chorong sat beside him and patted his back. "Time is a thief to me, taking all the good opportunities if I ever miss them" Jungkook looked into Chorong's eyes with so much sadness. Chorong sighed, "Time isn't a thief, nor is it an enemy. Time is simply a limit, if you didn't get the opportunity then time can't give it back to you but time can give you another one".
Jungkook smiled weakly at Chorong "I never got to ask, did you ever have a love story of your own?" Chorong asked "if you can't tell me then it's fine but I'll tell you mine. It's the sad story of reality, I was madly in love with him in my second year of college. He was completely out of my league, he was a great basketball player, had the greatest charms, and was a very popular person in school. But I guess he just wasn't the one meant for me. When my parents went to work abroad and my friends began to have other things to do, when I needed him the most, he lied to me" Jungkook's frown felt hurt for her.
"He told me he was with his friends in their usual hangout and wanted to know if he could come over but I decided to go to him as a surprise. I was the one that got surprised instead, he was making out with a girl in the corner of a shop but for some reason, my heart didn't seem to break that much. I just felt hurt, that's all" Chorong smiled very weakly at Jungkook and he smiled back at her.
"If you weren't hurt, why are you crying?" Jungkook wiped her tears with his thumb "guys like that exist in this world Chorong, even in this world, but not all of them are like that" Jungkook tried his best to comfort her with the words he spoke.
Slowly, their faces got closer and closer and their eyes began to close. Only centimeters was the distance between their faces until-
"Chorong! Jungkook!" Moonbin burst through the door.
Jungkook and Chorong immediately stood up and faked a cough then acted like nothing had happened before Moonbin entered the room.
"Did I interrupt something?" Moonbin asked after seeing how awkward the two were when he came in.
"No Nothing" Jungkook said. "What did you want to say that you had to yell our names so loudly?" Chorong asked.
"Uhm..... I was wondering if we could explore this cool fairy tale world while we're here?" Moonbin shyly asked while looking down to his feet.
Jungkook nodded "why not? I can tour you guys around wonderland, If you don't mind" "Nope, we don't mind" said Moonbin while giving Chorong a playful wink. Chorong blushed and avoided Jungkook's gaze, "yeah, I don't mind".
