Chapter 8

"Chorong step out of the carriage first" said Jungkook after he stopped the carriage. Chorong obeyed him and got off the carriage. He still had his expressionless face on again. Chorong thought it might make him angry if she asked him about it so she just kept her mouth shut.

Jungkook snapped his fingers and she wore a long grey skirt that reached her ankles then a black sweetheart neckline with white long sleeves inside. She was dressed up as Aurora before she had gone to the palace. "I'll send you to the cottage with the 3 fairies, they're still asleep so you have to sleep until they wake you up, and don't worry, once they wake you up, they'll call you by your name as if you had been the maiden they took care of." Jungkook said not even making eye contact with her.

Chorong nodded "is this 'my' birthday where they'll take me to the palace to get married but I don't want to?" Jungkook nodded. "But wouldn't this mean the happily ever after story will happen today? What will I do after that? Bring him sadness?" Chorong asked him a bunch of questions.

"That's when the maiden I wrote will replace you, after the happily ever after thing, you will disappear to another place meaning your mission is finally over in that fairy tale" Jungkook explained "We'll see you at the palace" Jungkook said then snapped his fingers.

Chorong ended up in a bed inside a cottage, her eyelids felt heavy for some reason, she then slowly fell asleep. Moonbin and Jungkook ,on the other hand, watched over her through a crystal ball Jungkook had made magically appear.

"Hyung, this Yoongi prince will kiss her awake today right?" Moonbin asked "is that why you already kissed her so you'd be her first kiss and not this prine Yoongi?". Jungkook sighed "you knew?" Moonbin nodded "you think I don't know what you two would be doing alone? Happily away from me?".

Jungkook rolled his eyes "I did it so she wouldn't be upset that her first kiss would be with someone she'd be with for only a while". Moonbin scoffed "hyung, who'll be the last prince she will go to?" Jungkook sighed "she'll go to beast in Beauty and the Beast" Moonbin almost let out a laugh. "What's so funny?" Jungkook asked "she loves that, you might end up losing to that Beast no matter how scary he looks, your personality is much scarier" Moonbin joked.

Jungkook hit Moonbin's head "ooow! Hyung!" but Jungkook ignored Moonbin. After a while, Moonbin and Jungkook also fell asleep ,their backs leaning on each other as they slept. When they heard three female voices gently speaking, both of them slowly woke up, "hyung, what's going on?" Moonbin asked "get up Moonbin, the story's starting" Jungkook hook Moonbin's arm.

Chorong was being waken up by the three fairies , Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, "Chorong, wake up~~" they said using their soft voices. Chorong looked around remembering where she is and said "why?" Chorong asked. Fauna smiled "so you can blow out your candles!" as they showed her a cake that said 'Happy Birthday'.

Chorong smiled then sat up in bed and closed her eyes ,making her wish, then blew out the candles. The three fairies then put the cake on the table next to Chorong's bed. "Chorong, we have things, important things, to tell you". Chorong knew what they meant but kept an innocent and blank expression on her face.

"What kind of important things?" Chorong asked keeping a blank face. The three fairies sighed "since it's your birthday, we should take you back to your parents, the king and the queen".

Acting mode : on

"M-m-my p-p-parents? The-the-the- k-king and q-queen?" Chorong stuttered nervously after hearing the sudden news "but you told me they're dead" she said. "Well, we were told to tell you that but when you would turn 16 we would tell you the truth and bring you back to them. Then you would get married" explained Merryweather.

"M-m-married?" Chorong continued to stutter, the three fairies nodded, "we made you a dress to wear once we go to the castle later tonight" said Flora. "Please leave my room for a moment, I would like sometime alone to myself" Chorong said and the three fairies nodded then left her room. Chorong made sure some tears were on her cheeks. The three fairies felt guilt when they left her.

Acting mode : off

Chorong sighed in relief when they left and muttered under her breath "okay, what do I do now?". Suddenly, a piece of paper was falling to her bed. She picked it up and read it "just look gloomy the entire time and go with the story. Once you get to the castle, they will leave you in a room so just go with the magic that will take over body <3 Jungkook, seriously?" Chorong raised an eyebrow.

"Seriously?!" Jungkook hit Moonbin "what? She can't tell the difference between either of our handwritings since it's the first time she's seen it" said Moonbin. "Then why put my name? And a heart? Seriously?" Jungkook said and Moonbin just laughed the entire time.

"Okay then, just go with the flow then" Chorong said then heard a knock.

Acting mode : on

Chorong wiped her face as if she had been crying and said with a weak voice "come in". Flora came in with a sad face on and said "I'll leave your dress in here, please cheer up, the king and queen will be happy to see you again" Chorong smiled weakly as she stood up and changed clothes.

The fairies waited for her to come out by night and all Chorong had done in the room was whisper to herself then get a piece of paper every now and then from Moonbin or Jungkook telling a piece of advice.

The fairies gave her a hood to cover herself from Maleficent to even see her. The fairies also disguised themselves as they walked into the castle. The fairies lead Chorong deep within the castle then said "Chorong dear, ready yourself okay?" said Fauna as they left her in the room to tell the king and queen the great news.

Chorong looked into the mirror and sighed 'pretending to be someone else huh?" she said to herself. "At least this is better than being alone at home talking to a bunch of stuffed toys but now you're talking to your reflection" said Chorong. A tiny piece of paper then was falling in front of Chorong's face.

Chorong caught it and read it 'well, your stuffed toy came alive, and take another look at your reflection'. Chorong looked back at the mirror again and found Moonbin and Jungkook in the mirror waving at her.

Chorong smiled then Moonbin fogged up the mirror with his breath then wrote "Don't worry, this story is easy good luck and fighting noona!". Chorong smiled and nodded, she saw another thing pop up in the mirror.

A door had opened and green light was coming out of the door. Chorong turned around and the door was right behind her, she felt some kind of force making her want to stand up and walk right through the door. Moonbin wanted to stop her but Jungkook stopped him "this is how the story goes, we can't interfere with it".

Moonbin nodded and just watched Chorong walk through the door they knew had the spindle inside. Chorong had gone through the door and five minutes later, the fairies came in panicking. "Where's Chorong?" Flora asked "Where did she go?" Merryweather asked "There!" said Fauna pointing at the door with her wand.

All three fairies raced after Chorong through the door, they ran up a staircase but while running, they heard a scream. They hurried then when they reached the top, all three of them shouted "Chorong!". They found Chorong lying unconscious on the floor. They all took her to her room and laid her down peacefully on the bed.

While the fairies left to get prince Yoongi to save the day, kill the dragon Maleficent, made everyone fall asleep as well, and did the rest of the things in the story while Moonbin and Jungkook watched over her through the crystal ball again.

"Hyung, is she really asleep? But won't only her true love's kiss work? She barely even knows prince Yoongi, she only talked with him about how animals are better than humans" Moonbin said. "Even if he isn't her true love, she'll wake up because in this story, he is her true love. Wherever she is, nothing is on her opinion, it's all on the story" explained Jungkook. "So hyung, is you kiss her in this story, will she wake up?" Moonbin asked, Jungkook shook his head "I'm not her true love, not in any story".
