LOST

Chapter 2

Chorong woke up in her room, nothing new, but she smiled as hard as she could. She picked her stuffed dog that looked like a cat that had a small red ribbon around it up and looked at it in the eyes. "Mr. Dog-cat, I wish you could talk, so you'd be my new best friend" she smiled brightly at the mixed breed but it wouldn't be of any use. It is a stuffed toy after all.

She picked her phone up and saw no new messages "Right, I broke up with Suho" usually, in the morning, she would have a message from Suho asking her are you awake now? Or says do you want to meet up today? But that finally came to an end.

Her parents would be busy at this hour, so she wouldn't be receiving any messages from them either. Her friends, well, she only had Bomi and Eunji. She was never a very sociable person that's why Bomi and Eunji got close to her, and she never made any other friends.

She got out of bed, changed into a simple cute black with white stripes dress, took an energy bar and headed to her car. She also took the stuffed toy with her so she could talk to at least something.

"Where am I going? I don't know either" she said as she put the seatbelt on the dog-cat and her. "I'm actually just going to go on an adventure by myself and with you" she put in the keys and started the engine. "Hopefully, it will distract me from you know- and I don't know" she continued to talk to herself as she began driving wherever.

"Right now Mr. Dog-cat, you're my only friend. Well, the longest one I've ever had because you always listen to my problems and never tell me a bad thing about it" she glanced at the toy but it just stood still.

"Why don't we take you where other of your kind can be found, the woods!" Chorong tried her best to keep herself smiling as she drove to the woods that was a bit far. Even though she knew there was no such thing as a Dog-cat, she was desperate for some distraction.

"Here we are!" she parked the car in front of a twisted tree and removed hers and Mr. Dog-cat's belt. She got out of the car with Mr. Dog-cat in her hands and talked to it as if it was a human being.

"How about we go in?" Chorong stared into the dark woods with a smile on her face as she hugged Mr. Dog-cat to her chest. "It won't be that bad right?" with a little bit of fear, she slowly walked into the woods.

The sound of crows surrounded her, every step she took she stepped on several twigs. Fear tingled up her spine so she held Mr. Dog-cat hoping even it could distract her from the fear of the woods. "Don't worry, there's nothing terrifying about crows and twigs and-" she hears a bush rustle "Ah!" she turns to the bush but sees nothing. "I think I'm really going crazy" she relaxed as her arms fell to her hips and her right hand had Mr. Dog-cat.

Suddenly, Chorong heard loud footsteps making a thud sound on the ground. "What was that?" Chorong's heartbeat rate was slowly increasing due to nervousness. The bush rustled again but Chorong was able to spot a foot appear then disappear. "Okay...... is anybody there?" she held Mr. Dog-cat to her chest.

Then, the bush a bit further rustled and Chorong walked towards it. The bushes rustled but she had to walk further and further since the rustling started to get further and further.

Chorong soon got tired but the rustle of a bush was finally next to her, she moved the leaves aside to see what was causing it. "Oh, what's this?" it was just a puddle. "Seriously? I walked so far just to find a puddle hidden behind a bush?" she slowly got mad as she stood up and dusted her skirt.

"Great, now curiosity has lead me to get lost in the woods, just great" suddenly, something pushed Chorong from behind making her fall into the puddle. But it was no ordinary puddle, it was long well that was merely covered with water.

"AAAhhhhh!!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs as she continued to move downwards. She held on tight to Mr. Dog-cat so she wouldn't lose it. She finally landed on a mattress with some springs popping out.

"Ugh, my head feels dizzy" Chorong rubbed her head after falling on the mattress, "at least I still have you Mr. Dog-cat" she looked at her hand but only found Mr.Dog-cat's ribbon. She began to panic, "Mr. Dog-cat?" she got up on her knees and when she looked around from the mattress, the mattress was actually stacked on 20 other mattresses.

"What is going on?" Chorong then looked around if she could spot Mr. Dog-cat anywhere. "There he is!" she found him on a mattress way further and lower from her. "How am I supposed to get there, oh wait, mattresses" she chuckled to herself, sat on the edge of the mattress she fell on and jumped off.

Chorong bounced after landing on the mattress then continued just walking on the mattresses to get to Mr. Dog-cat. One mattress after the other, she jumped on every one of them and started enjoying wherever she is. She finally landed on the mattress with Mr. Dog-cat on it then snatched the stuffed toy. "I'm glad I got you back, what now?" she looked around, "where am I?" all she saw were mattresses.

Suddenly, a door to her far right opened slowly, creaking creepily. "Ooh! A door" she began jumping from one mattress to another to get to the door, once she reached it, she walked through it and found herself in a large room with books on every shelf. "Am I dead? Did I reach heaven already?" it was a huge library.

Chorong made sure to keep a tight grip on Mr. Dog-cat so she wouldn't lose him again. Then she heard even louder footsteps but as it got closer, the footsteps went from heavy to light as if the person walking was transforming into something lighter or smaller, Chorong hid behind a shelf.

"LUMIERE!!" yelled the person, "yes master?" she spotted a candle speaking, "what the hell is this?" the person then whispered something to the talking candle. The candle bent a bit as if it was nodding then suddenly hopped in Chorong's direction.

Chorong looked for an escape but she was in a dead corner, the candle then found her "master look! A girl!" she panicked then the wall behind her moved, she turned around and found another door behind her. She punched and kicked the door for it to open before the master would spot her.

"What girl do you speak of Lumiere?" the master was slowly walking to her direction but his footsteps was slowly getting faster, before he could spot her, she was able to open the door. "Look master!" but the candle still saw her, and the master as able to spot her too. They ran after her towards the door she had escaped through but before they could get through it, Chorong closed the door and began running.

But Chorong looked around and found herself in a toy shop. Mr. Dog-cat began floating out of her hands, "Mr. Dog-cat?" the stuffed toy began glowing in front of her.

The stuffed toy was turning into a human, his arms, legs, head, body, everything was changing. The clothes that were on Mr. Dog-cat began to grow into human sized clothes. It's a good thing Mr. Dog-cat had everything, shirt ,pants, and shoes.

When the transformation was over, his eyes were still closed. He was a bit taller than her and his facial features, he looked like a human version of a dog-cat.

Chorong was about to say something about him but then they both heard a man happily dancing around, in reflex, they both hid behind a shelf filled with toys. They both watched the man happily holding a little boy while a little black cat walked around them. "Look! I'm a real boy!" said the boy and the man said "yes, yes! I'm so happy!".

Chorong smiled at the human Mr. Dog-cat and put her index finger over her lips as they looked for an exit. Human Mr. Dog-cat nodded as they both quietly went out a different exit.

They finally got out and Chorong said "you're human!" he nodded "I know!" but a thought occurred to Chorong "you heard everything I've been telling you for years?" he nodded then opened his up his arms "you can cry if you want to" Chorong shook her head, "let's not mind it now, we need to figure out where we are, but for the meantime I should call you something other than Mr. Dog-cat. It's a bit awkward". He nodded and said "ooh! I know I've always wanted the name Moonbin" Chorong nodded "okay then, that's your new name. So, let's figure out where we are" but then, another voice interrupted them "it's about time you got here".

They both looked at the voice's direction and saw a man in a formal suit with round glasses but he said "my apologies, I forgot to introduce myself, how rude. The name's Jeon Jungkook".
