Chapter 13

"Why would she not like the idea? Shouldn't she be glad we're helping her out with the stories?" Moonbin said sounding a bit angry.

"I don't know but for the meantime, we have to keep it low. If one goes out to a another fairytale, all of us has to go together. We can't risk anything and go separately" said Jungkook.

"Okay, enough about the queen, how's dinner?" Chorong's eyes sparkled happily in excitement. Jungkook chuckled at the girl's adorable excitement. "Moonbin, go set up the table" said Jungkook and Moonbin lazily left the room.

"Jungkook? Is there any chance that I could see the princes again?" Chorong asked hoping for a positive answer. "Well technically, you're still with them. Look" Jungkook showed her his crystal ball, Chorong looked into in and saw all the princes still smiling happily with her. "So wait, I'm with them but they're not with me? What if they realize that's not me?" Chorong asked.

Jungkook smirked "they won't know that, I know that they can't tell much of a difference ever since I tested them by making them look for me when I was with a bunch of other rabbits. They could never find me". He chuckled a bit and said "come on, let's go eat".

All three of them ate together and when they finished, Chorong washed the dishes. While she was washing, someone knocked on the front door. Moonbin ran into Jungkook's room, Chorong closed the faucet and hid under a counter in the kitchen.

Jungkook opened the door and found Sanha ,smiling brightly, "hi hyung! Can I come in? I have a few things to talk about with you, and I have a few important things to tell you" Sanha whispered the last parts.

Jungkook nodded and Sanha sat in his living room. "What is it?" Jungkook asked. "Didn't you hear? The maidens for some fairytale stories suddenly disappeared but then they reappeared and the stories have a happy ending now!" Sanha said. Jungkook was getting nervous.

"Also, the queen went by my house to look for the maiden I told you about before and they searched every room! Did she come by here already?" Sanha asked "yeah, she went here already" Jungkook said. "Okay, anyways, the maiden they're looking for must be important, she probably has something to do with the missing maidens or something" Sanha said, sounding like a reporter.

"Wait, who told you all this?" Jungkook asked. "Well, I talked to the twins a bit then I connected everything else by myself. It's kinda complicated, so I came to you! Maybe you know something that'll help me connect everything else together" Sanha's eyes were full of hope.

Jungkook sighed "look, you're a really good friend of mine Sanha but-" Jungkook was hesitating on whether to tell him or not "I think I should tell you".

"Tell me what hyung? Do you know anything else?" Sanha asked. "I know who they're looking for, Chorong! Come here!" Jungkook said then Chorong came out from under the counter and said "are you sure you can tell him?". Jungkook nodded then even Sanha nodded "Oooooohhhh I get it!" .

"What do you mean?" Jungkook and Chorong asked simultaneously. "You two are dating so you brought her to this story but because she doesn't belong to this story, you're hiding her from the queen! Hyung! Congrats! You finally have a new girlfriend!" Sanha patted Jungkook's back.

Jungkook sighed "that's not it" Chorong also went to Sanha "that is not it at all but before we continue I should call Moonbin". Chorong left the two then checked every room for Moonbin. When she found him in Jungkook's room, he was sitting on Jungkook's bed but he looked frightened.

"Moonbin, what's wrong?" Chorong asked then he pointed at the glowing book on Jungkook's desk. "Jungkook!" Chorong yelled for him then he came to them "what's wrong?" he asked then when his eyes landed on the book, he ran to it and immediately opened the book. The pages were flying by themselves then it landed on Rapunzel.

The letters began reappearing, meaning their plan had worked, the story was going back to normal. "Is that THE book of all stories?" Sanha asked. Jungkook nodded and Sanha went next to Jungkook. "How'd you get it?" Sanha asked. "The book chooses who will take responsibility remember? It went into the hatter's hands once and now it's it's mine for some reason" Jungkook said.

"Hatter told me he had no idea how to take care of it so he told the book to go to someone else, it's a good thing it never went into the wrong hands, like the queen's" Sanha whispered the last part. Chorong smiled at Jungkook's friend then glanced at Chorong and Moonbin and said "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Yoon Sanha, the mouse in this story".

Chorong shook hands with him "Park Chorong" then he shook Moonbin's hand and he said "Moonbin, literally just Moonbin".

Sanha nodded and asked "so what do you two do here?". "Before we tell you, you have to promise us that you will not tell anybody, not even hatter" Jungkook said and Sanha nodded with his right hand up and his left hand on his chest.

Chorong then spoke "I replace the maidens that disappeared from the stories". Sanha's eyes widened "so that's why the queen is looking for her!". "What do you mean?" Jungkook asked. "Like I said a while ago, the queen must be looking for the maiden because she is important!" he pointed at Chorong. "She is probably against the idea of putting a happy ending in the story" Sanha concluded.

"So what do you do?" Sanha asked Moonbin. "I was Chorong's stuffed toy that turned human, we're actually from the real world" Moonbin said calmly and Sanha's eyes widened as his gaze moved to Jungkook "hyung, you left the fairy tale world?!". Jungkook sighed "I'll let you come with us to 'the little mermaid'". Sanha smiled "you had a good reason anyway so, I'll let it slide".

Sanha then said "I have an idea, the queen has guards everywhere now just to look for Chorong. We need someone to stay in this house because the palace guards will be monitoring this entire fairy tale all day and night". "I have to go with Chorong, she will get lost in the other fairy tales without me" said Jungkook while sparing a short glance at Chorong.

"I like the Little Mermaid, besides, the guards don't know who I am. They might take me because I'm not from this story" said Moonbin. "Jungkook, let's take shifts. The Little Mermaid is a long story, it could take a day or two" said Sanha. Jungkook nodded.

"When will they start guarding the fairy tale?" Jungkook asked. "Most likely, Tomorrow, because the queen might make us in Alice In Wonderland feel scared that guards are watching us" answered Sanha "so can I sleep over?" his eyes were filled with excitement.

Moonbin grinned "Yay! More friends!!" Jungkook sighed "you want to take my room or Moonbin's room?". Moonbin smiled and said "My room! It's scary being alone in the room that's why I crawl into Jungkook's room at night". "What?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Sleepover!" yelled the two ,Sanha and Moonbin, as the youngsters ran to Moonbin's room. "We should cover our ears at night, those two sound like they won't sleep at all" Chorong said.

Jungkook chuckled and said "Chorong can I ask you something?". Chorong faced Jungkook "what is it?". Jungkook sighed and asked "If we finish all the stories, are you going back to the real world already?".

Chorong thought for a while "I don't know, life here is so much more fun, besides, I don't have any other friend in the real world. Going back seems sad" she took out her phone and glanced at it. The battery was only 10% already, her connection with the real world was slowly disappearing.

Jungkook pulled Chorong for a hug and Chorong froze "what are you doing?". "I thought you needed a hug, besides, I'm feeling sleepy and you were so much closer" Jungkook said. Chorong hugged Jungkook back then Sanha burst out of Moonbin's room "Jungko- whatcha guys doin? I thought you're not dating?".

Chorong and Jungkook immediately let go "we're not!" said Chorong "we were just-" "there's no need to explain, I just wanted to ask if you had any snacks" said Sanha. Jungkook pointed at the kitchen and Sanha took two cookies. "Thanks hyung!" he said then closed the door "you guys can continue what you were doing!" yelled Sanha but the atmosphere between the two was now awkward.
