Hazel's P.O.V.
It has been a year since we all returned from Narnia. A couple of weeks after we returned, the Pevensies had to go back home with their mother. It has been very lonely at the Professor's without them, especially Peter. We wrote to each other as much as we could, and we were still very much in love. I don't think anything could ruin what we have at this point. I haven't seen the Pevensies in over a year, and Marcel and I are dying to see them
Marcel and I are twins. We were born in Narnia and our mother is the White Witch. The two of us have magical powers that help keep Narnia's natural magic in balance. Our magic helped bring Narnia out of a terrible winter and helped fight against the witch. Our magic was believed to not be used for battle unless absolutely necessary. Marcel had magic over fire and air. I had magic over water and earth. I know. We're pretty awesome.
This year, Marcel and I would be attending the same school as the Pevensies. We were beyond excited because we would finally be able to see them again. In fact, we were on our way there right now. I wore a white button up shirt with a yellow and navy blue tie and a red blazer. My white shirt was tucked into my gray skirt, and I had on gray socks with my black shoes. Mrs. Macready braided my hair down my back and put a red headband in it before I left. My hair was a little shorter now. I decided to get it cut because I needed a change. The only downfall going to this school was the fact that we wouldn't get to see the professor or Mrs. Macready for a while. I was going to miss them a lot.
"This is why I hate the city!" Marcel yelled as he looked out the window of our taxi, "Stupid teenage boys who think they're cool go running in the streets with a bunch of cars. That just makes the cars go slower because they have to watch their stupid-"
"Marcel!" I said to him as I placed a hand on his shoulder, "Calm down. We're almost there."
"Fine. I guess if they want to get plowed over, then that's their choice." He sighed, "I'm so excited to see everyone again. I've been writing to all of them a lot."
"Me too." I said with a smile, "Peter mostly though."
I thought he was going to pop a joke about Peter, but he just smiled over at me.
"Are you excited to see him?" He asked me and I just smiled.
"You have no idea." I said as we pulled over in front of the train station.
We got out of the car and got our luggage out of the back. Marcel payed the driver before he drove off. We walked into the train station and there was a bunch of kids walking around. It was hard to push through the groups of kids. Marcel grabbed my arm as he lead us through the crowd of kids. He used his suitcase to part through a large group of boys.
"Oh my god! I'm about to shove all of these people into the train tracks so they can get hit. This is ridiculous!" Marcel said to me when we finally got through most of the crowd. Even though I wanted to answer him, I didn't because my mind was mainly focused on finding Peter. It's been forever and all I wanted more than anything was to see him.
"There's Edmund!" Marcel said.
I looked over to my left and saw a boy with black hair. Edmund had definitely grown a lot taller since last year. When he finally reached us, I noticed that he was now a couple of centimeters taller than me. He walked over to us with a huge smile on his face.
"Hey buddy!" Marcel said as they hugged each other tightly. Just seeing Edmund again made me smile.
"It's so good to see you both!" Edmund said as he pulled away from Marcel. He smiled at me widely before hugging me tightly. The last time Edmund and I hugged was when him and Marcel were rescued from the witch. He was a lot shorter back then. Now I was reaching up to hug him. It really has been a long time.
