Hazel's P.O.V.

It has been five years since we left Narnia. These five years have passed a lot faster than I expected them to. It has also been five years since I last saw my brother. I missed him more than anything, but I've found ways to hold onto hope that I'll see him again soon. We all missed Narnia very much. Parts of Peter and I have been waiting in anticipation for Edmund and Lucy to go back to Narnia. We knew they would write to us immediately, and I wanted to hear all about their adventure and on how my brother was. Edmund and Lucy were now living with their aunt, uncle, and cousin, and Susan was now living in America with her mother and father. She wrote to us all the time to tell us about her times in America. Hopefully one day we'll be able to go out there and see her.

Once Peter and I finished school, we were quick to get married once again. Our marriage was official in Narnia, but we also wanted to have a wedding with everyone that we loved there. After we got married, we got a small house in near the city together. Peter began studying to get a career in medicine, which is what I knew he always wanted to do. I began studying so I could become a teacher. It took me awhile to decided what I wanted to do, but I was finally happy with my life. We also had small jobs that made enough money for us to get by for now, but once we finished school, we really wanted to move into the city.

I held my coat around me tightly as I finally reached my home. Since the university was fairly close, I was able to walk to my classes every day. I walked through the gate and ran up the small set of stairs quickly. My bag began to slide off my shoulder as I walked through the front door, and I was immediately greeted with my neighbor, Matilda. She was about ten years older than I was and she was literally my life saver when I had to go to school.

"Hello, how were your classes today?" She asked with a smile as I walked through the door.

"Same as usual. They happened when I really had no motivation to be there. How was he?" I asked her.

"He was wonderful, as usual." She said as I placed my bag on the table.

"Thank you so much for watching him. You are amazing." I thanked her.

"Mommy!"

Did I mention Peter and I also had a son now?

Our son's name was Henry Pevensie, and he was the pride and joy of our lives. He looks exactly like Peter with his blonde hair and blue eyes. Even though Henry was identical to Peter, he loved to read books just like I did. He couldn't read yet, but he loved when Peter and I read to him before he had to go to sleep. His favorite story was 'A Christmas Carol,' just like mine was when I was younger. Henry just turned two a couple of weeks ago, and he was perfect. My face began to light up as I saw him run towards me with a smile on his face. He immediately jumped into my arms, and I lifted him up into the air.

"Hi honey! Did you have fun with Matilda today?" I asked him.

"Yeah! Matilda read to me again today." He said as he placed his head on my shoulder.

"That's wonderful." I said to him with a smile as I held onto him tightly. I turned to Matilda and she asked, "Same time again tomorrow?"

"Yes. I would really appreciate it. Peter should be home early tomorrow so it will only be for a few hours." I told her.

We said our goodbyes before Matilda had to get back home to her husband. Once she left, Henry went into his room to go play while I began to make dinner. Being a mom and a wife has taught me a lot about cooking and cleaning, even though I already did a lot of that at the professor's house. As I placed our dinner in the oven, I heard the front door open. My head flew up and I saw Peter walk through the door with a handful of mail in his hands. He took off his coat and hung it up before walking into the kitchen. A smile grew on his face when he saw me and he placed his hands on my waist. My hands went up to the sides of his face as we kissed for a few moments. We pulled away and we both smiled at each other.
