Hazel's P.O.V.

After the whole bear incident on the beach, Peter led us through the woods because he claimed he knew where he was going. Peter always liked being the leader and being in charge. All I know is that Narnia has changed over the past few hundred years and hopefully Peter doesn't get us lost.

"I don't remember this way." Susan said finally after a few hours of walking.

"That's the problem with girls. You can't carry a map in your heads." Peter said as he turned around to look at us with a smile.

"That's because our heads have something in them!" I said back to him and Lucy and Susan laughed beside me. Peter turned around and shot me a playful smile.

"I wish he'd just listen to the DLF in the first place." Susan said to us quietly.

"DLF?" Edmund asked us. The three of us girls looked at each other and smiled.

"Dear Little Friend." Lucy said as we walked ahead. I ran ahead and grabbed Peter's free hand. The one that wasn't always on his sword. He smiled down at me and squeezed my hand assuringly.

"Are you sure you know where you're going?" I asked him.

"Of course I do," He said with a smile, "Do you remember when the two of us would go out into the woods and we would sit on top of the hill and we would watch the sunset together?"

"How could I forget? That's one of the things I've missed about Narnia." I told him as I put my head on his shoulder.

"The sunsets or us?" He asked me.

"Both." I said quietly, "Can you promise me something?"

"Anything." He told me as he looked down at me and smiled.

"Promise me that when Narnia is restored, we'll watch a sunset together. Just liked we used to." I said as I looked up at him. He smiled at me lightly and kissed my forehead gently.

"I promise." He whispered against my forehead so only I could hear. My arms wrapped around his waist and he wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I missed this so much. Being able to just do this with Peter was something that I really missed while we were apart. It honestly seems like it's taken a much bigger toll on him than me. Even though we were together again, he still seemed angry. When we reached a small cave, Peter stopped in his tracks.

"I'm not lost." He said to himself quietly. I smiled lightly and kissed his cheek, which seemed to calm him down a little.

"No," Trumpkin said from behind us and the others were right behind him, "You're just going the wrong way."

Peter sighed and turned around, "You last saw Caspian at the Shuddering Woods, and the quickest way there is to cross at the River Rush."

"Unless I'm mistaken, there's no crossing in these parts." Trumpkin said as he turned his head at Peter.

"That's explains it then. You're mistaken." Peter said angrily and took off into the cave.

Trumpkin rolled his eyes and followed him into the cave. The girls and Marcel followed him which left Edmund and I in the back. I just didn't understand what was happening with Peter. He got into fights and he's been very moody lately. It made me worried about him, and it felt like the only thing that could calm
him down anymore was me.

"Is everything alright?" Edmund asked me quietly.

"Why is Peter so angry all the time? What happened to him?" I asked him without tearing my eyes from Peter's back. I heard Edmund sigh next to me.
