Time has flown by, I haven't talked to Adym in a bit. It's been may be a month or so. Jack and I have been talking and going out, but we aren't together. I'm living with Rebecca and honestly my life has been good since I cut out Adym. I still see Sawyer but that's it. I think about him every day though and I pray that his life is good. Rebecca and I made plans today to hang out with Sawyer. I know I am kind of like a third wheel, but it will be okay. As I'm getting ready to walk out the door with Rebecca, she asks me, "Would it be alright if Adym joined us?" Hearing his name makes me shiver. I don't want to be viewed as weak so I say, "Sure, I don't care." Rebecca hugs me and we are out the door. This time, she is driving her car. She drives a little Ford Focus. I sit in the passenger seat until we arrive at Adyms place. Once we get there, I see them both walking down the stairs. I get out the passenger seat and Adym and I make eye contact. This feels so weird, almost like it's wrong. Adym approaches me and opens the car door for me, I don't accept his offer and I walk to the other side of the car and open the door for myself. He grunts and gets inside of the car. "So, where are we heading?" I ask Rebecca. "Venice Beach baby!" I tell her, "I wish you would have told me, I don't have my bathing suit!" She looks at me and says, "Shit, I forgot to tell you. I'll drive back to our place and you can grab it." I thank her and the car ride is more than awkward. It's just silence. Sawyer tries to lighten the mood by turning on the radio. The radio is playing Versace On The Floor by Bruno Mars. Bruno is probably one of my most favorite artists and I can sing his music really well. I'm singing along to his music and everyone looks at me, including Adym. Sawyer says, "Wow, I didn't know you could sing Kat!" Adym retorts back, "Yea, she can. It's not the best, but she's okay." I'm going to pretend his little diss didn't hurt me. I don't know if he said that to get on my nerves or just to hurt me even more. Anyways, I forget what he says and I continue singing, trying to block out Adym.

We arrive at my place and I run upstairs into my room to grab my things. I'm looking through my closet and on top of a shelf I see a Polaroid picture of Adym and I. I stare at it for a bit and I hear footsteps behind me, "Rebecca wants to know why you're taking so--" Adym cuts off into another sentence, "What are you doing?" I throw the picture in my pocket, "Nothing, just looking for my bathing suit." Adym gets closer to me and starts invading my space, he's putting his hands in my pockets and I'm trying to shove him off of me. "ADYM, GET OFF!" I yell. He finally gets what he is looking for and stares at the picture. "You still think of me?" He questions. I don't answer him, I don't want to give him the satisfaction. "That's cute, but kind of pathetic." My heart hurts and I refuse to cry in front of him. "Why are you like this?" I choke out. I see Adyms demeanor change, his eyes start to water and his smirk turns into a frown. "I'm sorry." He says. "We should get going." I grab my belongings and he leaves the door. Before he leaves, I take the photo and I put it back on the shelf. It's my favorite photo of us and he knows that. We get back in the car and Rebecca and Sawyer are going off about something. I think they're really cute together, they surprisingly are the same person. Adym says, "So, how are you?" I say back, "I'm really well actually, how is life treating you?" He speaks up, "It's been really good, I released new music and I just bought a new car. It's a 2015 Range Rover." I say back excitedly, "Isn't that your favorite car, your dream car? That's amazing Adym, I'm really happy for you." He blushes and thanks me. I try to stretch out my legs, but her car is so tiny that I can't. Adym notices my discomfort and says, "You can stretch your legs out on me if you want?" I decline, but he lifts my legs on his lap. I'm not gonna lie, this feels fucking fantastic.

About half an hour later, we arrive at the beach. I step out of the car and breath the smell of the salty waves. I've always loved the beach, so I'm glad to be back. Adym and I look at each other for a second and smile. I hope we can go back to at least being friends. I miss my best friends, please god, let me have Adym back. I want the real genuine Adym, not the cruel monster he is pretending to be.
