Person A and B live in the same dorm.

Person A is loud and serious about their study and have habits of staying up all night, they have an immense respect for person B whom had saved their life. They are the kind of person that you can only figure out if you live with them and are fiercely protective of anyone they care about. They have ptsd and ocd ( no this is not talking about just cleaning, they have a habit of biting themselves or obsessively picking or cutting something so it is perfect and it is an uncontrollable urge that causes stress during lessons and makes their life significantly harder)

Person B suffers with stage 3 depression but is laid back and kind to everyone, they tend to be a little lazy and will forget to care about themselves. They had an abusive childhood before their father left their abusive mother and hence get anxious when people touch them in certain places (back, arm, maybe their hands?) They have a history of cutting in their thighs and will often make paper cut sized lacerations on the heel or the arch or their feet because It satisfies that boiling itch under their skin, if only for a little while.

Will sometimes curl into a ball and cry when watching a fight/abuse scene in a movie because it reminds them of the burns an scars on their back, the cuts in their thighs and the screams at midnight.

Person A and B try to fix each other and it slowly starts working.

Then...

Person B takes their life (I will never use the word 'commit' because suicide is not a choice, it is the last and only option.

You commit: murder, treason and rape etc.

But you cannot commit suicide, because it is a mental health problem that had not been dealt with)

And person A feels so alone, there's no one there.

It's so lonely.
