I turned around at the comment.

             Standing behind me were Shuu and Kame.

"Good morning, Nanoka." 

Kame said with a smile.

"Morning, Nacchan~"

Shuu yelled enthusiastically before lunging forward to hug me.

"Ah, good morning."

I responded-- while tight in Shuu's embrace.

She seemed to be in an extra good mood today,
which arguably shouldn't be unusual for someone as energetic as Shuu,
but my instincts told me otherwise.

"Did something happen?"

I asked, 

my curiosity rising.
