"As for your seat..."
After the introduction was over,
Fujita-sensei surveyed the classroom.
"...ah. You can sit over there.
Next to Moriya."
He pointed to a seat near the back window.
It was the one right next to Jun.
The new student nodded obediently
and headed for his newly assigned seat.
He sat down as soon as he reached the spot
without so much as a glance or greeting to his neighbors.
And so,
class began and continued in a quiet manner.
As if the disturbance in the morning
never occurred in the first place.
