"They're like a pack of hungry sharks." Kame observed.
The four of us sat by the side,
watching as our classmates
engulfed the air with their questions.Looking at them from a distance,
Kame's analogy seemed to be spot on.
The students' curiosity was insatiable.
And they didn't allow for much time
to breathe in between each question.
Although...
The transfer student has been surprisingly quiet
throughout the interrogation.
He looked stoically beyond the crowd,
his mind blatantly shutting out the voices.
His raven-black hair combined with those tortured dark-gray eyes,
his unperturbed poise as he sat there silently...
Altogether,
they gave him quite a mysterious aura.
